If there could be an option to lock the drop ship from the click wheel (where normal abilities are activated) that would be best. At times, you may want any one to join your ship, at others none. Could this technique be employed to adjust as needed on the battlefield?
Option: would this technique lock only the pilot's seat, passenger seat, etc. Would it only ban non squad members? If you got out while it is set on lock could you get back in? ( lock the keys in the car, any one got a coat hanger? Lol) |

Meant my own team stealing and crashing my ship. I usually run CRU and hop out to drop uplinks. Sometimes my ships flies away without me, only to be blown up by a careless pilot. If you killed me XO, then I deserve for it to be hacked.
*also was more curious about discussing possible ways to solve the team steal issue while still allowing battlefield flexibility. |

Ok, well we will see the pros and cons of the system they introduce and take it from there. |

I throw the links for blueberries and team dynamics, I fly the CRU (also with scanner) for squad dynamics and specific tactics. Though, I usually recall the dropship not long after getting my links dispersed.
Blueberries are not just dots, they're my team. I try to make sure there are as many forward locations to spawn as possible. |

I guess I want this game to develop accountability, or at least mimic it. You know what would be cool, if you could play a game mode that only drafted your teammates from friendly corporations (the enemy team would have a similar draft). There would really be no level of distrust or outrage to people siting in the mcc or, not helping out enough, or even vehicle theft, they would be your people, accountable to the corp name they share with you, or your direct allies accountable to a contactable CEO. That sounds sweet. Plus is would generate a stronger sense of purpose and belonging in a match, you're all from the same turf.
Thoughts? |
