If there is one spawn area left on your team, and you know your team is losing, it's best not to spawn there. If the objective right next to the clone reserve unit is controlled by the enemy team but the clone reserve unit isn't, it's probably because it's being camped so that the enemy team can beat you via clones.

If you're playing for a team that's winning and there is a single objective left or clone reserve unit - always assume your team is trying to camp it and that hacking it will result in them not covering you because you're interfering with their intent to defeat the enemy team via clones. If there are a bunch of friendlies near an objective but no enemies, yet no-one is attempting to hack it, it's generally safe to assume that they have no intention of hacking it at all.

Suffice to say, redlining a team is not fun for either side. The enemy just resorts to using sniper rifles or hiding and it draws the game out immensely, causing the last stretch of the match to be filled with absolute boredom for both sides.

Nah, make it easier - if you go to hack and your side hoses you in the back, take it that maybe they don't want you to hack.

But sometimes screw them, their farming will end up with some guy popping out and killing you - so it's not just their choice.

If it's their last objective/last CRU, no. It's safer just to let someone else do it - as always - but more importantly it's because the more organized guys (especially ANONYMOUS lol) are trying to clone them out.

If there's only one objective left, go to the opposite end of the map (usually nearest the hostile MCC) and start from there, working your way back in, and pray that some other blues take notice and come to help.

You will find a lot of tank drivers camping clone spawns. Use them as mobile cover and snipe enemy units You can pick up a lot of cheap easy kills shadowing tanks.

Spending a few SP on repair tool is a fairly sensible thing to do as well.

People do get spooked by tanks, I guess - so they are less likely to sweeping their aim in that direction. On the other hand tanks tend to sit out in the middle of nowhere.
