Heh, "functioning". I wish it was, need my crop insurance claim to pay my crop insurance. . Which both come out and go to the same office. |

Damn welp I heard its nice in Canada Resource based economy, just like Iceland. Thought about moving to Iceland but uhh.... Apparently pornography is illegal. Finland it is. I'm more privy to true socialism anyway.
Why not Sweden? It's more a tech hot spot than Finland. |

As a nihilist: it won't matter 6 weeks from now. As an investor: this doesn't do anything to promote the growth the capitalistic economy barley eeked out over the past half decade. As an angry American: you're coming down us! |

The us econ is a reserve currency if that becomes uncreable well it's never happend but it will make the great depression look like a picnic. I personally want a state to sucuessed from the union over this mess. Won't happen but my god if it did think of the fireworks :-D Albany, NY practically declared war against the United States if they tried to enforce the NDAA in the city. I thought that was amusing.
There's a township near Boulder CO that has a standing bounty on drones. Also amusing. |

Functions quite well---when everyone is getting along.
NDAA is the National Defense Authorization Act. If you're familiar with the Patriot Act, this is its younger brother, who's hopped up on crystal meth and steroids, while stealing money outta mom's purse while patrolling the house with a mini gun.

That is the way I see it, anyway. Happened last year. Forgot what it was about, though.
I do have a suspicion it was about the debt ceiling or something of the like. Actually, last year was about the debt ceiling. The Republican's threw a fit and refused to pay the bills so the United States lost its AAA credit rating. The government was not shut down though. This is the first time it has been shut down since Clinton was in office, which is two decades. Ironically enough last time it got shut down a bunch of Republicans were throwing a hissy fit too. Which in turn lead to an all Democratic Congress the following election because people got pissed off. I predict the same this time around. Kamikaze missions rarely turn out well and that is what the GOP is doing by holding America hostage. Debt ceiling is going to be up for debate against on the 17th but honestly we needed this shut down because Government Health-Care is shady at best in it's current iteration. I dont get why you don't have a tax funded core and then option to go private if u want better service iv yet to see valid argument. For not doing this to be honest
Actually about two dozen states had systems like this, subsidised bare-bone insurances paid for by taxing usage of medical services, and it worked great. But now the patient affordable care act came into and dismantled most if those for a ****** exchange system based upon forcing people to carry insurance that in most cases (regarding the people this plan was designed to help) not being able to still afford it, so they'll be heavily taxed instead. |

World needs more of that, honestly. People who are loyal to the original concepts set forth when the nation began. The world really doesn't need more of people who think they're better than others. Epecially when it's done with such unquestioning devotion.
Oh, I see what you're saying, but it seems you're confusing radical statism with patriotism.
Patriotism is flying the flag in your yard, reciting the pledge of allegiance or openly discussing systems and legislation. Radical statism is derailing budget negations with a poison plan or trying to start a war with Syria under the guise they're a threat to national security. |

When using examples, I make sure both idiot-pools get treated equally, as they really can be equally as dumb.

Princeof Nigeria already did that, I'm just making sure my statements are fair in their condemnation.
As long as we keep it civil and not turn it into I'm right you're wrong pissing match I think we re okay with showing our discontent with the gov'ment. |
