At 17,500 AUR for a week, active omega boosters are pricey. Don't worry though, Ryme is here to help you get the most out of your investment with 3 top tips.
1. Activate on a weekend This is your basic level booster maximization. Activate the booster on a weekend so you have, e.g., Sunday, Monday, Tuesday to cap in the first week, and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday to cap in the next week. You essentially get two weeks of bonus SP for the price of one. This does, however, require you to abstain from playing until Sunday on week 1, and then play intensively for seven days.
2. Don't activate until SP event. This is for those who only have one active omega booster. It's probably best just to wait until a juicy double or triple SP event comes along. The events in October are pretty unimpressive, so that means waiting until November at the earliest. However, when that event comes along, you'll be getting double double SP or even double triple SP. More advanced users may want to combine this with tip 1, getting you the equivalent of three or four weeks of bonus SP for the price of one week.
3. Interrupt activation with standard active booster This form of booster use is still in prototype phase, and is strictly restricted to booster proficiency 5 mercs. Activate your omega booster when you want to use it as usual. Let's say you want it for Saturday and Sunday. As soon as you hit your cap on Sunday, you select the extend active booster option, and select a regular booster of the appropriate length.* For instance, if you want to play on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, you select a 3 day active booster. You do not play again until Wednesday night. By then the regular booster will have expired, so your omega booster will be automatically reactivated. On Friday night, you again select extend active booster. This time, let's say you don't want to play again until next weekend, so you buy a 1 week active booster. A week goes by, the regular booster runs out and your omega booster has two days to run. The overall result is three weeks of omega booster capping for the price of 1 omega booster, 1 regular 1 week booster and 1 regular 3 day booster, at a total price of 28,000AUR, less than the price of two 1 week omega boosters. This is perfect for mercs who do not want to play intensively for seven days, as tip 1 requires.
* I have not actually tested if you can change from an omega booster to a standard one. I accept no liability from any losses incurred from experimental booster use. |

I am going to note that most SP events will not directly impacted by the Boosters so you have to be careful on activation and conditions of gaining the bonused SP that week.
However the other logic that you will play more during an SP event is should be noted on getting the most out of what you buy.
As for the item itself I am not too happy about it, I wished it would change into something different. |

Really? This is quite a radical change from previous events, which always gave more SP to booster users as far as I'm aware. |

Was trying to think of idea's to save make the most of these, that is a really good idea if down correctly. Bit complex and requires attention but will make best of your omega's |

If they never have a straight-up triple SP event again, then that will kinda suck. |

Bit complex and requires attention but will make best of your omega's Yeah, assuming it works, you do need to remember to switch to the regular booster at the right time. Basically think of the regular booster as the 'I'm not playing for three days/a week' booster. |

I doubt that strategy for extending boosters will work. I was under the impression that extending a booster period simply adds the time onto the end of the current booster's expiry date.
There would have to be a curious programming setup to have an extension break up the use of the Omega. |

There would have to be a curious programming setup to have an extension break up the use of the Omega. I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. For instance, I had a normal regular passive booster going. It only had 4 hours left on it and I didn't want to lose passive SP, so I activated another regular (30 day) passive booster. The new booster went to the top of the queue and started ticking down (29 days and 23 hours, etc). I agree it's a weird idea of 'extension' but that's how it is.
It's possible that what I described doesn't work, but if so, it's because omega boosters work in a special way (e.g. don't let you 'extend' them with regular boosters). |

Do active omegas give you 2000 SP per 1000 WP per game after you cap? |

That makes them more interesting. If I double boost on both omegas I could make 1.08-1.1 mil SP per week with hard grinding. But I'm at the point where I don't have much left I that I'd want to skill into, so I probably won't be buying them anyway. |

If you do go the grinding route it's best to activate the booster on a weekend (don't play before then!), then you get two weeks worth of double bonus SP as well as the seven days of double SP grind. |

Just wondering if anyone has tried 'extending' an omega active booster with a regular active booster? If so, what happened? |

I activated the omega on Wednesday, played for three days til I hit my cap, then activated a three day regular booster. The omega is now frozen until Tuesday evening (UK time), so I'll have plenty of time to cap next week before the omega expires. In the meantime, if I want to play, I'll still get 1.5*SP from the regular booster. |
