Speaks for itself I'm tired of some blueberry gaining points for getting me killed for a second time If you can't keep the clone active for long enough to be an effective combatant then you shouldn't revive them in the first place. say... 10/15 seconds? |

Would this idea be of any use to you? I prefer positive fixes over penalising players when it comes to changing in-game behaviour, but I do agree that being used as a work pinnate gets boring fast.

Nah, they should just take a hint from battlefield, they have to accept the revive if they want to keep going, course then alot of people would stop running injectors because not alot of people stick around to be revived anyway so maybe give blueberries partial points for an attempted revive, then the rest of them if you accept it.
Also I gotta say...if you're that worried about your KDR, ya probably should be more careful about running into areas where a medic can't safely pick you up, probably what gets people killed in the first place. I know it's rarely that easy and sometimes blueberries are oblivious to snipers but still, nanite junkie medics are only half of the equation. But for something like a quick sacrifice for changing suits, yeah there's gotta be a fix for rampant medics. |

That I like, however it's probably pretty far away in terms of putting it in the game, this mechanic would probably be overshadowed in terms of healing ability once the bubble shield comes out, but still usable for people who don't carry equipment so I like it! |

Eeeeehhh hiw dose a big fat no sound. Dont punish logis because you were blueballed allot can happen in 10 to 15 seconds say a logi revives you when its clear and you go running of lime a bluberry strait into enimy fire instad of cover leading to your inevitable death why should that logi get punnished for saving your ******** ass. |

Not in favor of this for one simple reason:
As a logi, I often revive people who then instead of seeking cover to regenerate shields/armor, blindly run back into a hail of bullets. That's NOT my fault. Their death isn't my fault in that case...and I shouldn't be punished for it.
The only way I'd agree with this change is if the countdown lasts only 1-2sec. After that I'm not responsible... |

I want to penalise the stupid blueberry who's about to die and so decides to rev some other poor sod just for the +60 before he croaks - as the enemy seeing him is more than happy for the extra kill.
ok so if no negative points then what about not getting the points till several seconds after the revive? I've heard the arguments for an accept system and in general I don't approve, partly cus I don't think the logi wants to hang around for some random blue to accept when hovering over them but mostly cus when your down you don't have a view of what the hells going on around you so your not in a position to accept so your going to get killed again anyway. |

Instead of negative WP, perhaps the WP should not be granted if the revived individual doesn't live for at least 5 seconds. |

It's called cover fire. If you are gunned down and ur squad is right there, they should be giving the guy with a injector some cover fire.
As a logi myself when I'm squadding I tell the guy I revived (if he's in my squad) to just book it for cover as I draw the reds attention for a second. He runs to cover, I take a few shots and get to cover. Then I rep him and off we go.
If I revive a blueberry, I do the same thing except just hope he's smart enough to realize that I gave him a window to escape. |

This. You get the WP after 5 seconds if the poor fellow is still alive. |

Ok. In this case I won't run a needle anymore at all. You're kidding, right? 100 WP deduction for a failed revive? There are a lot of things wrong with that.
First of all: Sometimes it's just bad luck. Everything is clear, you revive someone and suddenly a strawberry runs around the corner.
Very often it's not even the logis fault. Sometimes I revive people and they just stand there, not noticing what happened. Then they just get shot again. Too often people forget to run into cover. Already run to the next cover while you're still in the standing up animation.
Punishing people for a revive attempt would suck so hard. I also think it's bad character that you want people to be punished for an attempt to help the team, even if that attempt fails. I mean you would gain nothing from punishing them. Only that nobody wants to revive anybody anymore.
The idea with having to accept a revive is good I think, as long as the logi still gets full points for giving players this option, even when they don't accept it. |
