I finally found the runway again. This time it was slightly on the side of a crater. Last time I found it, it was in the crater. This would make since because the runway is deep in the red line and would allow jets to land and take off without being exposed to AA. So what are your thoughts, as promised here is the pic.

It looks like it could be a runway, of sorts, like an undefined socket or some such?
However if the fighters are VTOL there would be no need!

Definitely not a runway - mostly because having a runway going up the side of a crater is a TERRIBLE idea. |

Also lets not forget this could be just a place holder and has yet to be polished. Like the cities and lakes in the distant red line this could be just something for the future and may not be ready. |

Yes its located at the bottom were it says skirmish, but the top of your pic looked like the bottom of that map. No structures, just desert landscape. |
