Laser Cannons vs Shield based tanks from range, you will not get close enough to hurt me, plus auto cannons are vastly more likely to be Anti infantry than anti vehicle. |

Dude I have been using your Gallentean **** for weeks now, I know all about them, all the ways to kill them, all the ways to fit my lovely Amarr tanks to counter your CQC bruisers.
Don't think for a moment that Maddies will remain top dog, I'm sure the Matari and Amarr tanks will kick its ass right out of top spot. |

Oddly enough thought that too. But It might just be. Since Amarr will likely have higher Base HP, and balanced slot modules, the possibility to make one Tanking type a buffer/hardener type, and the other the repping type could work..... In theory.....
E.G- Using a base Shield value of say 2000 with Shield Hardeners and rechargers, coupled with Armour Heavy reppers and Resistance modules. |

Maybe, maybe not.
CCP hasn't really followed suit with the Amarr dropsuits but then again they have no real counter parts in EVE.
It would help me since I am learning to armour tank with the Gallente stuff. |

Unfrtunately due to budget cuts the amount of Gold in Amarr dropsuits has vastly decreased, we only now use golden dropsuits on special occasions, and our combat suits are only Gold trimmed, you would get less ISK for your kill than the bullets you used to kill one of us.

I would like to see what kind of Arty you get. Mortar arty, CQC anti infantry auto cannons?
I would also like to see what Amarrian turrets we might get. I would like to think that Amarrian turrets have heat bleed. We will be all about the heat build up on our guns, so will we be able to bleed off heat onto our targets so that they too over heat slightly more quickly. |

Nah we have a special alloy construction in our suits that aids in the strengthening of gold, while not reducing it malleability. |

The Winmatar will be a close second, Caldari last place (sadly) and Amarr and Gallente will be tied for first. Bet you.
Hmmm fast moving Shield tankers, I think they may well be some of the better active tanks post vehicle rebalance. |

I have this fantasy of seeing Amarrian tanks cresting a hill and lasers erupting from them, long and short bursts burning the air and slicing through enemies too slow to get into cover. Ahh, but that's why they call it fantasy, I guess.
No no sir. I am going to make one of my mates dress up in Minnie equipment, and watch a couple of us crest a hill in Amarrian HAV for a youtube vid. it will be marvellous. |
