Okay so I get we are all RPing/ channeling different characters with different opinions from all sorts of background and such but for those RPers who visit the IGS and actively take the chance to engage in dialogue can we please all take the hate and impoliteness down a notch.
I admit I'm guilty of getting into conversations where my presence isn't required because one persons comment sets me off on a "I'm going to clear up this misunderstanding" tangent. We have plenty of fine, well lore educated persons around these parts and I would like to keep it that way.
Can we all try to avoid horrible racial slurs we know are not true.
Can we try to avoid interjecting in one another's threads where we are not necessarily welcome.
Can we try to avoid being so hostile without due course.
I only say this because the goddamn amount of Anti (Insert Faction Here) slurs in threads where we all try to get to know allies and such is growing to be a real problem.
I am, from here on out, going to start backing out of hopeless threads, do not mistake this for me rolling over, if you want to discuss it further please do so with me in game, Public Contracts and we can debate our ideals. But in General Discussions Section and IGS Section threads I would like to call for a general cease fire or a de-escalation of our current course.
(( I will petition a CCP dev to remove this from IGS when I feel a reasonable response has been achieved, or this thread has been torn to shreds)) |

I cannot stand arguing with mostr Gallente on this forum, they know nothing of the lore and drive us in cyclic arguments about the same things. I do however like Arguing with knowledgeable guys like Arkena who can be both respectful and IC while doing this without spouting "FREEDOM 4 LYFE" style comments. |
