Hello all
for the last few weeks the most type of suit I and my friends have been killed by is logi being maxed out for damg. now as of this point in the game this is not a cheat and as it stands right now I don't like it but I know it's part of the game but there is a fix for this and for all the uplinks that spam us in most games.
ok so here is the fix. only allow ONE type of module on a suit(any suit) at a time. so only one type of damg mod or one type of uplink or one type of anything. This will not stop the spam of the uplinks but it will slow it down and as of stacking mod's well it will end that since you cant have more then one type. now I know lots of players may hate this but it is a fix and one that will push the game to move back to skill over just fast kills. I think the coding is already in the game since there are modules for tanks that you can only have one in place at a time so it would only be a matter of adding that code to everything.
 hope you all don't burn me to bad for this but I for one play Logi and I play it as a Medic not as a super assault |

That would completely wreck many things.
That means a top tier assault can get 300 shields because they can only use one shield extender. It means pure hacking suits can't hack nearly as fast because they can't stack hacking modules. It means scouts can't use multiple biotic modules, heavies can't stack plates, and many other things besides.
I'm sorry, but no. A better solution to this problem would be to balance the slot layouts more. |

...wait, what? In what scenario is module stacking such a problem that hasn't already been fixed with stacking penalties? This would only remove the versatility of suits and reduce the variation of effective fittings.

I like my amarr logi super assault. ADV suit, 700 HP, ADV Scrambler rifle with 2 cx damage mods and uplinks+active scanner.

Sad thing is that I can almost beat you with a Standard Gallente Suit...
But, I seem to be able to do that with most suits. |
