OK so I wanted to start a thread about suits that I fear on the battlefield and suits that kinda make me think "easy kill". So to start off I have made a list with number one being the "scariest". FYI I run a winmatar assault with some light weapon and a good SMG.. I usually have around 500 to 600 eHP. (note this is in 1v1)
1. Caldari logistics! Seriously? Idk if a bunch of good players use then because they did as the FOTM, but a proto is seriously hard to deal with...
2. Gallente logistics. Another logi! This seems strange..
3. Caldari assault.
4. Gallente assault.
5. Ammar heavy. Good old fatty.. I put you down here because if there's even the slightest bit of cover.. Well, lol good luck keeping up with me. Open field though in CQC.. I'll give you that.
6. Ammar assault. A proto with a scr = Whoa.
(starting to struggle here..)
7. Minmatar assault. I put you kinda low because I never really get killed by you even though it's what I run! (pro tip. If you see me you better run!  )
8. Ammar logistics.
9. Minmatar logistics. Squishy.
10. Gallente scout. Saw one with 600 armor (call out to Roner general) otherwise pretttty Squishy.
11. Minmatar scout. Ha...
12. Ammar commando. Haha hahaha....Lolol.. Wait. Wait for it lolmando. Seriously this suit is a joke.
So there we have it, it's not perfect and obviously is biased based on the fitting I run but I want to note that the logistics are top my list! The ridiculous cpu, PG, and more slots make them easy to convert to a god mode assault plus a natural 5 HP/s... Like wtf! I'm all for freedom of making your own style but isn't it weird that I'm scared more of logis than assaults? I think something is just wrong about that... My simple solution is to give them bonuses that actually aim towards being a logi. Wouldn't that be weird? Also, maybe boost the natural eHP of the logistics but reduce the slots.. Give assaults damage bonus.. Idk!
I'd also like to note that the poor scout is so low. I used to be scared of a good scout but I think they nerfed the shield delay and speed tanming. I mean if you don't completely surprise me... Good luck.
The middle of the list is pretty hairy but I did my best. I'd like to hear what you think and maybe some feedback about balancing and roles! |

Vehicles I blow up in my commando suit don't laugh... And I still get plenty of kills with my AR... but my main suit that I use the most is a caldari logi. |

Im sure there are still some of us who use the logi suit as an actual logi. I also want you to consider the minmatar as a dual tankimg high damage. My pro isable to have around 320 shield and armor, natural armor repair, and i can still fit damage mods woth a duvoulle. Im still faster than you  |

heres a hint, make them waste their bullets and kill them while they are reloading.
i say this not becuase it works in theory but because its what i do and it works EXTREMLY well
of course i use a minmatar medium from with 2x submachine guns but the same thing is true when a real primary is used.
caldari logi is harder to deal with, but i carry flux for that reason.
to be honest everyone who doesnt have a sidearm is alot easyer for me to kill then anyone who does...
logi isnt better then assault... its way too vulnerable without a sidearm and relys on the support of others to survive when the chips are on the table. |

I think Aero just has the whole LOLmando down pat, I don't think Ive ever seen him use something that isn't amarrian either so he's pretty good with the ol laser tech. |

HAHA That what I do man.. But for some reason I rarely find people with good minmatar fittings.. Well besides me and you of course. Thinking about making a minmatar chat channel for squading up.. All of us running dual SMGs!! Think about how great we would be if we could get close to people

it will still be a few days before i can settle on my fitting but im joining you guys :P
3x complex extender and 2x basic ferroscale is my current fitting.
cant wait to get my hands on proto in a few days and see what its REALLY made of |

How about prof 3 smg with a plazma kanun? I used to run twin boundlesses on proto assault with 2 dmg mods and 3 extenders, twin enhanced cardiacs.my other main fit is a gn-20 flay and a ishukone smg. As it currently stands i don't like playing point blank or even AR / cala smg. Because a mlt caldari can tank my maximum shield using 2 complex extenders.... Cant even tank ore arnor because caldari gets 3 lows. |

The callogi is def the most versatile. It has enough slots and equipment to do just about anything. However, it isn't the best logi (goes to gallente) or assault (gallente caldari or amarr w SR), also its lack of sidearm makes it a poor av. Still, it does everything and omnitanks better than the amarr logi. Still, its low PG, speed, CPU, keeps it balanced.
Scouts need love. Commando needs more high and low slots. |

*Jaw hangs...* As someone who uses the Minmatar light / scout suits I feel violated. For any sort of noticeable speed increase over your 8.6 my hit point pool is somewhere in the 250-380 max! If I forget about speed all together I still wont reach anywhere near that level of hp.
Yea Minmatar light suit variants need a little love.
I also personally find the melee and knife bonus useless. |

You kiddong? Gallente kinda makes ne laugh because a mlt nade does 800 damage to them. Again it all goes to caldari. The assault is lackluster compared to logi. I've met callogis with 500-600shield and 400-500 armor. Cant flux them because then they spam fluxes back, and then spray their duvolle with probably a damage mod or even 2. A logi doesn't need the slots to omnitank / speed/sgield or hell, even use all 3 liws on pg/cpu for fitting all proto equipment with proto weapon with a proto energizer or 2 |

More module slots plus boosted CPU and PG equals supa tank suit.
Hell they can fit more tank then assault suits can.
And they are the suits supposed to be getting shot at.

Take away equipment slots from all other classes except logi, and you got a deal 
And let's be real here, you guys would still complain even if logis were limited to sidearms. I mean the proto SMG is pretty dang good, and would you really want a bunch of players learning how to use the scrambler pistol that can OHK most suits in the game with a headshot?
Yeah, even if we just had sidearms people would still complain and want several high/low slots removed as well.
