So throughout PC, Kadlina itself has had quite a timeline of historic events for such an Earth-like planet.
This planet had started with the original owners of Rise of Legion (ROFL) corporations which was accompanied by what was Pink Fluffy Bounty Hunterz (PFBHz).
- Hellstorm (HS) had attacked and overthrown the districts that PFBHz had on Kadlina after HS being hit in Bosena towards the beginning of Planetary Conquest (PC) when Seraphim Initiative had hired PFBHz to attack HS in Bosena.
- - The demise of PFBHz districts on this planet caused a fracture within PFBHz which resulted in the termination of the corporation thus allowing the players within to seek sovereignty in other corporations.
- The initial push on this planet by HS caused tension with the ROFL alliance, which resulted in the second war of PC shortly following the EoN. and CRONOS war, which was still in effect during the spark of the League of Infamy (LOI) and ROFL war.
- - A solid month went by in which HS and it's alliance of LOI; and the corporations within it at the time, started to expand outside of Kadlina into interstellar systems.
- - - End result, LOI now owning what was most of Elfrard for the time being.
- The long waited LOI and EoN. war was on the brink of ignition, while both parties waiting for a reason to hit the other. Minutes becoming hours, turning into days, resulting in a few weeks to pass by as an accumulation of tumbleweeds passed through forbidden lands of both alliance territories.
- The time had come where what was supposed to be the most drawn out war in PC history finally had a spark to ignite the flame with HS attacking a newly welcomed EoN. corporation of Intrepridus. The war was sparked and the planet of Kadlina which was HS's trophy planet was hit with full force by EoN.'s vast amount of corporations.
- - With personal absence and tempers flaring within day 2 of this war internally within HS, EoN. and I believe mainly TeamPlayers (TP) had now proclaimed Kadlina as their own trophy planet by taking it off the hands of Hellstorm.
This planet has sat in daze for quite some amount of time now, Marauder which was our Director of Operations for Kadlina was simply using these districts within Kadlina for Nova Knife production facilities. Times were good when Nova Knife peak season was in, no competitors trying to undercut us or buy us out. Well that obviously came to a halt with the fall of the HS flag and the new rise of TP's flag.
After an extraneous amount of patience has been tested by the players of HS now residing within the Ancient Exiles (AE) walls, we knew we wanted this planet back, as this planet has had some serious history for three huge alliances within PC. The Dust Prime League Tournament rolls around, while TP and AE battle corporations for weeks in hopes to fight each other which results in the fight both parties we were waiting for; the finals. With AE winning the finals round 4-2 against TP, Chicago had personally given an appropriate gesture to myself to have a word.
Chicago himself didn't feel the prizes being given out were worthy of maintaining such stature within the tournament, so supplemental to what CCP has offered the winners of the finals: Chicago had turned Kadlina back into the hands of AE as a keep sake of memories along with some pocket change to clean off our tattered down boots.
And as this gesture was politely accepted, on behalf of Ancient Exiles and as CEO, I do thank Chicago for this token of gratitude, means a lot and says a lot about the player we call our enemy.
