Dude there is no aimbot, its aim assist, CCP haven't changed despite looking at it, their happy with it, I don't use, I still beat those that do, Im happy with it!

I don't have much say on the KB/M vs DS3 issue... but I do think it's stupid to call one or the other of them the "core of the game" because with the numbers we have nobody is the core of much of anything.

This core of the game crap comes from segments, such as vets, who don't give a crap about the game but only how they can "rule" in it since they've been here a long time -- no matter what that does to game play experience for new users.

The kb/m works via a controller emulator, the input of the kb/m is converted into controller input before being parsed to the system.

There are many positive reasons why this is done!
By doimg this the main thing is to eliminate hardware improvememts, period!

This is a game where tactics and intelligence rule, if you do not wish to play this way kindly leave and don't let the dorr hit you on the way out!

So, most agree that a mouse is more accurate than a thumbstick. Amazing. Have you ever wondered why pc users use mice instead of thumbssticks? Or touchpads? Or rollerballs? The mouse is an obvious advantage in any application. Put it away and use a controller in public matches to further Dust 514. Or be greedy and the game sees less growth

OK. I'll say it again with slightly different words. "We should use the ps3 dualshock when playing public matches to encourage the player base of Dust 514. We should do this to grow a game we enjoy." To those who say a mouse isn't more accurate/better than a ps3 thumbstick... are you serious?

No its not hard because its the superior control method, but putting mouse control in a console fps was a naive move by CCP.

We have established that the mouse is the better aiming device. There is no doubt.
THE POINT IS: The ps3 user that downloads Dust 514 is a console player w/o a mouse, and we, the "advanced" Dust 514 community, should only use our mice in planetary conquest. In public matches, we should nuture "ps3 free downloaders" instead of killing them with five AR, mouse-guided bullets. Do what you wanna do. I just want Dust to thrive. Before you make a "matchmaking" comment concerning this topic, consult your mostly logical brain. Thrice.

Sorry spaceman, the keyboard isn't any better than the controller, emulation ensures that!
Just make sure you are prepared to try and stop the kb/m users when they ask for the emulation to be removed!
