I liked them, then again who doesn't like 48k passive SP everyday. If I remember correctly they were 38k Aur for the 30 day boosters. |

Yep. That one's new, nobody has had it before. I bought a few of the 30-day passive omega boosters last time, and they really helped me close the gap with the players in my corp who had been in since the closed beta. Expensive though. |

Anyway, to answer OP both the active and passive ARE AMAZING, far better than the basic. Double the benefit for 1.29 times the cost, if the cost multiplier is the same as last time. |

They were reduced because of the fanfest. Normal price is something at about 64k Aurum. |

I bought a couple of these at 36k. I would have bought zero at 64k. |

Passive boosters are always better if you have to choose, as you don't actually have to play the game to get bonus sp.
Actives are nice for events and such (as events usually only affect active skill point gain), and you can buy the shorter ones for a day or 3 days that you have to spend grinding sp. This is especially useful for players like me who don't have the time to be online every day.
As for active omega boosters...I would only buy those for special events (say 7 day ones), but I'd rather save my aur for a 60 or 90 day omega booster (apparently they exist in game, but have never been for sale) |

Standard booster is 36k. Omega 48k
they were 46k aur. A better deal than the standard, but still expensive |

For the active booster, buy a few and hold on to them. Wait for a double or triple SP week. |

they are great and they were 36k a piece
I bought 3 but I think the 7 day active will get you way more in 7 days compared to 30 if you save them for a sp event

Depending on how the active works this might not do much other than let you grind to cap a little faster in one day?
since that's what I thought the actives did. |

Actives increase your cap as well. You'll hit it in exactly the same amount of time as you would without, you'll just have more to show for it. |
