Glad I haven't made any enemies yet! But basically I agree with Cosgar!
If you say something like
"I haven't seen you in PC"
"PC is the most competitive mode"
"Everything should be balanced soley on PC experience"
"If you don't play PC your opinion isn't valid"
You make it to the top 10 in my **** list! As such Reg-whatever his name is squarely on the top! |

No your about 12, after we got all of the usual tank argument bs out the way you were rather reasonable about it! Basically as long as your not in a tank and a red its all good!  |

You must hate my guts then - because PC IS the most competitive part of this game and if you're not playing this on the highest level of competition you won't understand the real value your gear gives you, so your opinion is invalid. GOML and HTFU. 
Yep your probably up their! PC is HIGHLY competitive and it DOES give useful insights concerning balance! But is not the be all and end all of balancing the game! Both FW and to a lesser degree PUBS should also be taken into account! An example if the MD Were balanced purely on PC as of use in a squad it would be useless, the only guns worth using would be an AR!
If we aren't careful and rebalance the RRs upon release it could happen! Tactics that work in FW won't in PC and vice versa! Yes PC does make a difference but PC is really just FW without que-synching, in the end it doesn't matter where you play so long as you aren't stuck up your own *** |

If you balance at the most competitive level, it gives every weapon a chance to be good, instead of just being balanced against idiots then useless in PC...
There are plenty of people on the forums who use the PC overlord argument to wade into mass driver argument, constantly saying how it shouldn't kill!
As in never actually be capable!

True but there are just as many idiots in PC, its just they are idiots with a mission! I understand what your trying to say! But in reality you can't balance of a game mode that only a select few people play! Especially in the current state of affairs where EON own the majority of the map!
Im not saying balancing by PC is useless, but only if you compare it to the other game modes, where there is more of an equal footing! PC by no means is balanced or fakr at the moment, clone production and selling is far out of kilter its hard for indie corps to get in! Not to memtion those that don't use the weapon they complain about! Then back up the overly biased opinion with them being a PC overlord!
When the flaylock was nerfed they showedmus the metrics behind, they didn't base it purely of the PC!
You can't balance a game solely on its Elite Community, or on a single game mode! |
