I dont give a goshdang about AA, or hit detection, or AR supremicy, or any of that. What we all know though is since hit detection was fixed, I would stay TTK was almost cut in Half! Cover is good and all, but i feel almost stupid putting a Enhanced shield extender on anything giving me 33hp, when that is a SINGLE bullet from pretty much any gun, not counting the 30 bulets that are behind that one.
People have brought this up numerious times yet I have not heard a peep from ccp about how they feel the TTK is working in DUST at the moment.
I wouldnt mind a 40% HP buff across the board for all suits. The game may feel better since hit detection was fixed, but i find it less fun, and honestly I even feel silly when a hose someone with my AScR and they die before they even have time to turn around. |

Hit detection is working like it should always have been. Also don't forget most everyone has SP into proficiency which makes milita weapons proto. |

As I said, hit detection is great, makes fighting a much soother experiance. That said, most weapons where balanced with terible hit detection in mind and have not been brought back down to size. |

Let make this thread productive instead of stating the obvious. How would you suppose they fix the problem?
Edit: Other than giving everyone a crap ton of HP. |

Don't change the guns seeing as how they are working as intended remove AA and all our problems are solved. Then fix rendering, lagg, and frame rate drops (some in 1.5) and we are back on track. |

I could name off quite a few potential fixes, from bullet dispursions, to lowering the RoF on most guns, To cutting their optimal range in half but increasing their fall off.
But the point of this thread was Im more interested in hearing what CCP thinks is the goal TTK, especialy in a game where each modual fitted to our suit should make a diferance above deflectign a single bullets worth of damage. |

We know that uprising 1.0 TTK was too slow. We know TAC AR madness was too fast. So somewhere between those two extremes.
Are you looking for an average in milliseconds across the game? How exactly do you want them to describe ideal TTK for you? True question. |

Anyone else find it ironic a guy from high-damage makes a thread claiming damage is too damn high? |

Well, as I said i would like them to hear from them where they want it at [aproximatly]. Since they seam to have no comment on it I can assume they are OK with it for now, but a simple "Our design goal for TTK is a bit higher than curently" or a comfermation "we love TTK curently and never wnat to change it" would work for me.
If they confermed that they have plans to change it then we could all crunch miliseconds |

^--- is the only time CCP has addressed TTK, but they have addressed it. when TTK was drastically increased, they reacted swiftly to return it to where they felt balanced. i'm imagining they feel the general TTK is where it needs to be and further balance will be by weapon (like CFPs and TAC ARs...). |

Dropping the damage of rapid fire guns by 2-3 per bullet would be a start. This would add about a second yo the TTL without horribly gouging out all the other modules and somewhat balanced items. |
