While I like this feature as I'm constantly opening my Neocom, I've noticed some people disgusted by this feature. Wouldn't it be easier to have an option to turn this feature on / off in the general settings so that those of us who do want to have our neocom open the moment we log in, can. While those of us who want to have their Mercenary Quarters open by default, also can. It's possible in EVE with the Ship Hanger / Captain Quarters. It should be possible with this... it doesn't even have to launch in 1.5's first patch... Ummmmm they are disgusted by having to hit circle and exit the neo com that takes half a second? If that disgusts you then you have never had any adversity worth being disgusted over, spoiled..... Maybe? |

Is anyone going to enter dropships as they are? Ill be honest, between my inability to comm with the pilot that's not in my squad and how soft and squishy ds are I refuse to fly, to many times pilot trys to evade gets burnt and when I bail I'm in the redline to deep to sprint out, can't do it..... |

Scouts die from many things easily an we have accepted that an adapted, but dying because we perfectly sneak behind a weak assailant with proficiency rated knives an a minmatar 25% scout damage bonus , charge strike a hacker 3 times an have him turn around an militia assault rifle us to death in .6 seconds an have the kill screen show he was in a militia suit with under 500 total HP is completely an utterly unacceptable. This occurance can not continue for any longer it needs to be fixed now. Their is nothing worse about this game than dumping millions of sp into something that has constantly been complained about an always swept under the rug an neglected.
If you can't fix them or don't know how that answer would satisfy us more than making other things more important an neglecting to finish doing what you said would be done for 1.5
We are forced to skill into other weapons an waste points just to survive, when we already have millions of sp in something that is broke, this is sidetrack our skill tree progression and is unacceptable considering we have been extremely patient. The sg is a perfect example an I have had proficiency 4 shotgun since may an ply started consecutively using it since this past week because the knives get me killed more than anything else nowadays .
An I'm a good sneaky scout, I'm not rushing in face to face, it's the behind kill with no hit detection that's killing all nova knife users at least a few times a game. Please make this a priority I second this. My experience is similar: typically it's sneaking up on someone and unleading a charged strike with only one hit landing and second one missing because the target does half a stride to a side - with the miniscule NK hit radius this is enough to evade your strike. Mind you your target does this not to evade you specifically, they don't even know you are right there behid their back, they do it just because they are constantly strafing or swaying while looking the other way. Please fix: either A) the damage radius and or angle of KN attack (160 degree or so, does not seem too OP to me in this setting) B) Allow charging knives and sprinting (it's ok if it even takes 2 x stamina) C) consider changing turn rate at least on heavies, but ideally on all suits: scouts fastest > mediums > heavy. You can do it even dynamically: normal and same turn speed for all suits up to 90 degree arc (to allow reasonable tracking) but if the player continues to turn, slow it down. No. As if heavies are not slow enough. It's balance. Some things gotta give. I am not seeing ppl give good ideas as to how to fix broken things in the game. Very strange: ppl only care that their specific fit, suit, weapon is taken care of and don't care about the big picture. This logic lead to everyone running in assault suit with Duvolle. No diversity, period. CAP ATTACK: THERE ARE NO SCOUTS LEFT IN THE GAME because they lose in each and every situations - even those where they were supposed to have a healthy advantage: sneaking and CQC. Your presumption is wrong scouts are not supposed to have a healthy advantage at cqc that is a play style that has been introduced from other games, people said oh wow I can move fast equip a shotty and I'm good, problem is scouts are made to SCOUT which means go look around, scan, and hack, anything you do otherwise including nk, sub, shotty and attempting to take on the classes that are designed to kill, assault and heavy well thats on you, let me reiterate, scouts are fine for their intended purpose, like being the first to the objective, but they are not frontline assault troops. My advice is use it the way it was intended and you will be happier. Run to the objective hack scan and then change into a suit meant for frontline combat, scouts are just supportive but everyone wants to be a killer.....
