30 days ago the entire team saw anyone that anybody in your team saw (or perhaps only the squad), but either way. That's insane.
You don't see uplinks anymore unless you scan them.
And you've removed a piece of equipment such as an uplink, injector, nanohive, repair tool, or even a remote explosive from a logi.
Stupid post. |

"You have been scanned" "You have been scanned" All the time.
I tried the advance for myself and it's a joke. It's OP and kills any tactics. Flanking is dead, now everyone knows where everyone else is at now. Why don't we just remove all covers from the map and shoot at each other in the open and whoever has the most HP/DPS wins.
The only way to counter that scanner I think it's to play a scout with dampener. Everyone else is doomed to stay forever on the enemy scan.
Either nerf the scanner to 2 seconds max (just to get a glimpse of the enemy is enough not this BS scanner)
or remove it entirely and put back team shared vision. As it only shares the results with your squad, its not OP unless you're in a full squad. Even so, it provides amazing tactical awareness. I could of sworn it provides details with the whole team, as I recall some matches where no one in my squad ran scanner yet we still saw the flashes.
It only works for the squad |

Its not breaking the game, you just don't like it.
I thought it was broken before when everyone knew where everyone was at all times pretty much. Scouts can now spot for snipers by scanning.[/quote]
With my suggestion the scout still can mark targets for the snipers. But 16 seconds is too much. A few seconds is enough to flash the enemy, knows where he is so the sniper can kill him.
You don't need to mark the enemy 100% of the time.

And you don't. The 16 second scanner doesn't scan as low as the other scanners. They all have different attributes.
Some go farther out, some appear on the tacnet longer, some go down to 28 db but only appear for a few seconds.
Might as well complain about nanohives while you are at it. |

I know some guys that are true killers say they like to see that they've been scanned. They basically just wait for the red dots to come to them and murder them. |
