Im trying to prove a point in this thread: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=112451&find=unread but everyones offering different formulas to calculate the damage, and instead of arguing it would be easier to get this on video. So if we can get anyone with a video record, and another person with a proto forge with at least profficentcy 3, then you can blow up one of my tanks and we can post it on that thread. Thanks |

Thanks no need for video, the math is easy, proto assault forge gun with 3 dmg mods vs 40% resists => 1512 base damage * 1.1 skill * 1.1 first dmg mod * 1.087 second damage mod * 1.057 third damage mod * 1.1 shield weakness * 0.6 resists = 1387 dmg per hit against the shields. that is 4 hits to take out the shields and a final 5th hit to remove the remaining armor and kill the tank. Im often taken down in 4 shots. Video is preferred, math isent easy for everyone its just easier for everyone this way |

A FG user can only use two damage mods, base damage on Proto Assault FG is 1663 and FGs do 90% against shields, not 110%. Other than that the math is pretty spot on, as I also showed Exmaple in the other thread. yep. not everyone is on the same page though, want video |

i only have 2 high slots on my proto suit so when did we get upgraded to 3 high slots? they changed the proto heavy sence i last used it in chrome, my bad. i corrected my math later on in the thread when someone pointed it out, its pretty early |

But Djin says hes not able to do this on a shield tank with 2 clips and hes always trying to get tanks nerfed were im trying to get them balanced. Now that their looking at vehical rebalancing it would be good to get a nice few min video talking about what mods are being used, skills, weapons, so forth. im gona throw this qoute on this OP |
