A respec should be offered at some point. I mean people act like it is easy grinding out SP, but for a casual gamer like me it is not. 7.5 mi SP took me 4.5 months to obtain.
4.5 months is enough for me to want to play something else, so I need to grind another 4.5 months to get decent in dropsuits. That just is not fun for me.
I mean really, this game is very much unfinished, very unbalanced, blah blah blah. I mean I just don't get it, I can understand how you want the choices you make matter, it makes it meaningful. But some people are just crazy over the idea that no shouldn't have speced into something that got nerfed because it was Overpowered. If anyone is at fault, it is the developers, not those who chose to go with the best build at the time (caldari logis). Or massdrivers ect.
Live with your choice type of people. Just don't get that either. Why, this is a game, still in beta, with much more to come(hopefully). I'm cool with living with my choice, if all options are available to me. And I had all the information on how to make a good choice.
It seems to me CCP is very much catering to a very specific playerbase. I'm sorry but to have staying power, this game needs something like a respec at some point. Not everyone has 10 to 15+ million sp and have played since beta. Some don't spend hours of their day grinding out that SP to be halfway viable. Live with your choice, yet choice is something in very short supply.
There is such potential here, with this game. CCP needs to open up more. I mean this is a FPS gameplay wise. Not they huge open universe that is EVE. |

Exactly, I mean COD just for an example. I was at level 80 or whatever, with every gun and perk unlocked. Know what I do, start from scratch. Not because of some icon I unlock, but doing the same **** over and over get's very very boring. And with this game, I have to do that same old boring ****, over, and over, and over. Just to play something new.
The grind is getting really old, really fast. |
