Is there a chance that a guy with more or less 350ehp with a scout suit, can play with the AR like an assault (frontal assaults)?
The last assault/scouts i've seen in this game were in chromosome.
Do someone still use this tecnique and have profit?
Imho is very difficult and you must be very good or not taking damage. |

I'm not talking about me, it's a guy who plays in a different way from other scouts, he plays like an assault, but with the scout suit. |

I don't have him in my contact list, but i'll check, i bet it's not below 3.
The point is not his kdr, it's the fact that he can play as an assault with the scout suit, i've seen scout around but if you shoot them a bit they die, this guy just don't die.
Anyway, it seems that your opinion is that this guy is not taking damage properly.
I think the same thing. |

I've found the answer, yesterday the lag was bad, but it was in my favor, people were shooting at me, but they did almost no damage.
That guy knows how to shoot but he is also a bad lagger. |

i have bpo std scout with AR. plte and rep. so fun shreddimng proto gear while danging and bouncing around. scouts arent about takeing damage. more so avoiding it. |

You could try but I wouldnt do it, I mean I have more EHP on my unlimited medic fitting
My advice for running a scout suit and doing well is be a raptor, your attack shouldnt come from the front but the side or back when they dont know you are there |

Lag -- the great equalizer. I've been on both sides of the spectrum recently, ever charge a forge gun and have a lock an medium range stationary opponent on even ground only to have the bullet pass directly through them without doing any damage? Guess what happens, you die.
On the other hand I had a hard freeze in CQC between a scout assault any myself, apparently I head shot the scout and got an assist on the assault.. Who I didn't even aim at... Latency does some screwy things my friend.
Also with current way AR is I think just about anyone who is able to get a good elevated position should have no problem wracking up kills, that said I do it with my heavy and there are games where I do upwards of 9kdr. I see no issue with a suit that moves so much faster being able to do as well if not better. |

Maybe that was me... i do that sometimes when i feel like trolling people. I die like a fly, but is fun to see people faces when they get kill with an AR by a scout ....I bet they feel like real NooBs.  |

Really, just to check the efficacy of speed tanking an AR fit - cheaply.
Worked a lot better before AA and HD got fixes. |

I believe Roner General does this (at least sometimes, anyway) but don't take my word for it. |

I have run into scouts were they are able to go head on with me and win. I get angry, not at the scout but the BS mechanics of the game. I have over 700+ EHP and I know for sure that scout cannot have the same as me. Two complex shields, 2 Adv Armor, 1 Complex rep and my AR is at proficiency lvl 5. Now if they had shields in high slots then they would be short of my EHP by a few hundred if not more. If they were using Damage mods that means even less EHP. If we shoot at the same time theoretically I should win, but when the scout can walk away with only shields missing I know something is wrong. If I lose to a scout, I lose to a scout no big deal, but to lose because the poor mechanics knowing D*** well I should have the kill, I can only shake my head. Also being killed by knifers, I want to say good job. You can do what very few can and I do send congrats and gg mail if I can remember your name. |

When i play Scout with an AR i ambush people, which means that i start shooting about a second before the other player.... it may look like is the poor mechanics, but in reality is just a matter of few seconds of more DPS.  |

I don't try to end up in head to head fights but I can usually manage using my breach smgs. Even with AA, it seems people have trouble tracking my scout suit while rapidly and randomly reversing strafe directions. |
