It will probably be about as fast as the commando, and have an equally worthless tank.
Expect an arbitrary bonus to melee damage or something equally useless. |

If the medium suits are anything to go by, this would be the fastest but lowest HP suit, which doesn't really fit with usual heavy tactics. But if the bonuses are built in repair and some kind of useful HMG bonus (e.g. damage increase or spread reduction), which would be logical, this could still be a very nice suit. |

Yes, it'll probably have a 1hp/s armor repair built in.
No, it probably won't have an equipment slot. Why would it?
Also, Cosgar, why do you feel the B-series from Chromosome were Minmatar prototypes, and not Caldari? Was it said somewhere? |

Minmatar suits seem to follow EVE battle philosophy to a T- hit and run tactics with burst tanking. I can see the Minmatar heavy as the squishiest in the class, trading a huge buffer for high shield regen and mobility. |

Yeah, you have to wonder about those roles I guess. Same with Amarr Scout (slowest but highest hp?).
A faster Heavy sounds more useful, though balancing the stats against competition (slower assaults?) is questionable. An Amarr Sentinel has 5 slots at PRO, so if they do the "other races get +1 slot" bit, that's the same number of slots on a Minmatar Heavy as an Amarr Assault (6), and if it's about 10% faster (that average for the assault/logi difference with Amarr/Minmatar), that's a move speed around 4.1.
Perhaps a more interesting thought might be a Minmatar Commando, by the same metric... about 4.4 speed (just under an Amarr Logi). If the Minmatar heavy has far fewer than an Amarr (800-ish), and the Commando has far less than the regular heavy (about 62% of the regular heavy, 500 vs. 800), then what does that mean for a Minmatar Commando?
Well, with Assault/Logistics, a Minmatar suit has about 80% of the hp value of the equivalent Amarr suit. Same ratio would peg a Minmatar heavy at 640 eHP base. Same ratio for Commando would give a Minmatar Commando about 400 ehp, or about 40 more hp than an Amarr Assault. It would be slower than the Amarr assault though, and presumably have 4 module slots at Proto (same as STD Caldari).
Mind you, the commando is a horrible suit as-is, so perhaps they'll fix that before they use it as a template for other races. |

This. Imagine 4-5 highslots so that it can take a really good buffer, or some pretty ddecent regen speed as well. That on top of probably having some sort of buff to the HMG. Plus if it is about commando speed, and you put stamina/kincats in the lows, it will definitely be a serious contender for doing come real suppressive work. Also, to balance, heavies have normally gotten a longer regen delay and lower base regen rate. |

I agree on everything except the commando suit. I'd rather see each races specialized heavy frames bring something different to the table instead of emulating what we already have. |

If you go with standard minmatar theory, it should be a light suit with a heavy weapon slot. |

I thought it was the Amarr. The Armour tanked heavies were pretty much Gallente, hey only had 100shield if I remember correctly. |

I've been thinking about something to give it a snare effect since the initial dispersion is so high. |

T-II and B-Series had front loaded shields and more mobility. |
