During a match with SVER tonight, I experienced lag so bad the game became unplayable... my PS3 is DMZ'ed, I have 50 Mbps (>6 MBps) down, and experience 0 lag in pub matches. I would die before knowing what was going on or where I was being shot from, I would lose all audio randomly, people I would shoot and get hit markers from would take no damage, and my shields/armor would go from full or half to empty/dead instantaneously. Sorry to my fellow ANON bros and those who I play with, but this is unbearable and impossible to play, literally... I am more of a hindrance than I am a benefit.
TO CCP:
You made this game, now fix it. We, the people who have put money into your pockets (and you can check the records, I, and several others in my corp, have spent a good deal of money in the game), try to stick with it and bear the burden of playing a game that is, and lets be honest here, still in beta. Planetary Conquest is way to laggy and experiences huge framerate drops (I was getting <1 fps while inside of the installation). We try to tough it out and play through stuff like this... we have plasma cannons that actually work yet our clones get stuck on a 1" ledge that we're forced to jump over? I guess the advanced technology only applies to weapons, but not our ability to walk over small obstacles that wouldn't even foil a mouse. I digress... Planetary Conquest is broken with its lag and, for that, I refuse to play it until your company fixes it. Stop "balancing" stuff and make the game playable... if you really want to balance stuff, make the game playable, and then let people figure it out. |

They are the only ones I really lag against (but they were also the last ones I fought before I posted this, which caused the post)... 0uter.heaven, no... Ahrendee, no... Rogue Spades, kind of yes, kind of no... again, tonight, we had 3 people get kicked out due to lag and my screen would freeze 20 seconds at a time... I think CCP activates picture frame mode during PC for me. It is nearly impossible for me to win gun games, so I have resorted to just using a scanner and wildly spraying my AR in a general direction hoping it hits/kills somebody. If I had a PVR it would be nice to post a video.... so everyone could get a laugh at the joke that is PC and the 56k connection they tie us through. |
