I was amusedly watching another pointless AV vs Tanker threads not to long ago, when I was reading up the "related articles" that one side had been using for evidence of some kind, I noticed a link to tank upgrades for urban combat.

The bullet that caught my attention was the last one about Shotgun rounds, and I got to thinking, what if there was a tank that was very light and fast, but could only use Shotgun shells as it's primary weapon system? As a shotgun cannot provide a solid stream of fire like our blaster cannons can, it seemed like an interesting idea. |

This sounds quality, old cannons used to be able to fire grape shot rounds turning the cannon into a massive shotgun, not sure what today's equivalent is other than flak and frag rounds |

The Scattered variety of the guns should be a shotgun.
Low ROF, high damage over a spread, and a fair bit longer range then a shotgun.
Just imagine the Railgun version... Like a 2.5 sec charge time, 50-75 damage per pellet, and the turn speed of a blaster turret, range of a AR.

Sounds like a MAV. APC rolls around and shoots a literal giant gallente shotgun(the current shotty we have now) at ppl. Disguise it like a turrent and have a much large cone. Sounds good, i would use it untill the proto AV 2 shots my MAV |
