all i got to say is new close up of dropship sucks. i prefer old view. this "new" view is costing me too many dropships cause it is too close to the ship and makes it harder to tell when a building is near causing more crashes, and cant tell when something is targeting you or if swarms are getting closer. i would say keep things as is but change visual zoom back to the old style.

Yeah, people made a thread when 1.4 came out, and from what I hear, CCP may be returning it to normal in 1.5.
I don't quite mind it.
Just drove mine when I joined a 16/0 match a few minutes ago.
I don't care much about it, found my driving more action feeling, less deliberate and careful then before. |

Makes squeezing through tight areas a pain, though, because if there's a ceiling above you the camera is completely blocked by the dropship, and in first-person view I can't get a sense of when I've cleared the ceiling and can hit my thrusters. The best alternative would be to give pilots the ability to customise where the camera is on their dropship, since we all use it for different things. |

i would have to agree with this. since pilots have their own style to fly, they need to let us decide on how we can view the camera instead of them needing to adjust it so many times. |
