Dropship + active scanner = done.

In my opinion that should be a job of a dropship pilot. I suggested in point 3 to award WP for vehicle scanning and to introduce a new dropship exclusive scanner that would have a bigger radius than ground vehicles. Effectively creating a new role in Dust.

We do need some vehicle with stronger scanning capabilities, imo. I think perhaps even a dedicated scanning tank, with an extremely powerful scanner instead of a primary weapon, would interesting. Let it scan the whole (or at least the bulk - range and such increased with skills) of the battlefield at a higher precision than the current dropship scanners, but have looooong charge up/cool down periods and make it reasonably slow (maybe even immobile while scanning, due to PG/CPU consumption spike or some such) and squishy enough to demand protection as an asset, maybe require it to be outside of red line to work to prevent camping behind a mountain or building.
