Two hvy extenders for added alpha damage with resist and then maybe a hardener for a little escape resist has helped me more than a shield boost/hardener defense. Up close with a blaster tank is a loss either way but taking hits while moving at medium range works better with the above. And passive extenders plus speed helps on DS.
