Im sorry but these are not Events, they are Promotions.
Caldari Prime was an Event.
As a vet, these rewards give me zero motivation to play the game more than I normally would. What ever happened to getting cool stuff like vanity suits as event rewards? That is something I would play for. Its not even like they would have to create all new suits for it anyway. Just re-skin the stuff thats already there and maybe have a new configuration now and again.
I mean, how cool would it be to roll a cammo or matte black tank onto the field?
How about a full gold Amarr proto suit?
This just seems like a lazy way to say "See, we are doing stuff for the community" |

Caldari Prime was an event because:
- Proper Build Up - Between the RPG based stories published as well as CCP publicity
- Actual EVE/DUST Meaning - Was the first time that you saw DUST and EVE fighting around something of meaning
- The Backdrop - Yes, the pretty backdrop actually felt like you were doing something different than the usual pub matches. It added to the immersion of the event. |

It added to the immersion of the event. I disagree completelly, everyone in my corp laughed at it. Big deal if it was meaning full EVE side as well, it ment nothing in dust, NOTHING.
Whether you liked it or not still doesnt change the fact of what it was.
