A simple enough suggestion: would you like to be able to grab downed allies and drag them into cover so that you, or another squad mate, can revive them in relative safety whilst in the middle of the firefight? I've been in a number if matches where I've been pinned by snipers or TAC ar and the revive from a team mate has ended up getting us both killed. Annoying in capture modes, really nasty in Ambush.
I was thinking you could tie it tithe square button; tap to grab, tap again to release, hold at any point during or after to administer a nano should you have one equipped. Dragging an ally places you in the crouched stance but doesn't impede your movement speed as much as a standard crouch does, and I like the idea of being able to fire sidearms with a reduced aim penalty to allow you to give yourself some covering fire. The drag should consume an amount of stamina linked to the size of the suit that you are trying to heft.
Opinions and thoughts always welcome. Thanks. |

Agreed, this would make my job of logi a lot easier...and it would solve a lot of the issues with so called WP farming through revival |

+1 for shield spheres!!! Also I like the drag option if the shield sphere is just out of merc stabbing range. |

As much as I like this idea, I can see it being used as a trolling/farming mechanism. |

I've always wanted to replace the hook of a fishing rod with a nanite injector. Revive a mercenary from a safe location, reel him in, heal him up, send him out as bait, snipe the enemies who kill him, rinse and repeat. |

Just one question.
Why would slowly dragging someone be any more safe than just running in with a needle and saying "Get ready to run, dude" on mic? If safety while reviving is your concern, this seems like it would just be the complete opposite. |

More seriously, I'd answer that the downed merc should have the usual clone failure timer, so bodies not attended one way or the other will disperse as they do now, thus avoiding the clutter issue. The bodies appear to be affected by physics as though they are rag dolls, suggesting that they can be manipulated by any in game force with a certain degree of fidelity. I'm no developer or coder, so I have no idea how I would implement this on a technical level, but I assume that you could just "tag" a downed body with your merc and then moving yourself would apply a force to the body until you let go? Perhaps you're right and it would be a function that asks for more resources than is viable, but it never initially struck me as it being so.
I'd really like a dev response to this just for that issue alone. HINT. |

Point taken. My experience of the revive process Is that the animation of the injection is slow, massively telegraphed to the opposition in the near vicinity and leaves the reviver exposed and the revived still near dead and slightly disorientated as his bandaged together clone gets back to his or her feet. Perhaps sometimes it would be preferable to just burst in, jab and gtfo, but I think keeping a low profile whilst maintaining some speed (op asked for faster crouch movement in this instance) has definite tactical advantages you could use. Get them behind cover, jab em and they'll thank you not just for the revive itself but also for putting them into solid cover so they can heal up with reppers and the like.
My aim with this request is to add a tool that will sometimes be useful that adds just a little extra bit of immersion into the fight. |

Like said by someone else above, deployable shields (When they finally make it in) should pretty much solve the relative safety concerns.
(Not to mention, if anyone is ever reviving anyone without killing the guy who killed their teammate first... They're a bad 'medic' and they should feel bad) |
