oh and a heads up everyone, the game is supposedly set to be released for tomorrow, the 25th. however there are chances that it will be delayed to fix any errors that might come up since they are currently doing a closed beta in japan |

Pity you have to pay-to-play for every 30 minutes or so. At least Dust is free, and despite some flaws, deep down we all love Dust to the core. |

well u guess since you all seem excited about it, ill tell you about the features currently known. as you know it will be a free to play game with a fuel system similar to the tokens in tekken revolution. with that system every time you play multiplayer, or campaign, a certain amount of fuel will be used up and once you are out of fuel, you have to wait a certain time before you are refueled for another sortie. you can compensate though by purchasing more fuel with real money to play more without having to wait. the estimated waiting time varies, in tekken revolution its usually about 30 min while in gundam operation, it takes six hours so hopefully it wont be so long. it will run on assault horizon's engine so expect some beautiful graphics and effects
the story will take place in the real world but with strangereal elements that the fans know and love, including superweapons such as stonehenge. it will be around ac4's story years after the asteroids impacted earth which was called the ulysses disaster. if i remember right, the countries will be fighting over what little resources are left which that part is similar to ace combat 3's story which was also about corps battling over resources.
there will be a campaign which is rumored to contain at least five missions but more will be added through updates and of course there is also co-op mode. what i know so far is that it will be competitive based in which eight players will be split off into two teams of four player from which they destroy the enemy forces and compete for the highest score. they will also be able to work together to destroy superweapons.
the customization option will be available as you will be ably to have different planes and the special weapons, skills, and emblem that the player will be flying with during that sortie. Infinity also has a user interface which, after unlocking an aircraft, allows the player to upgrade that aircraft through a technology tree. Players can tweak their aircraft by swapping out and upgrading their aircraft's armor, missile power, gun damage, engine power, power of certain weapons, and more.
thankfully it is confirmed not a pay to win game. all aircraft will be made available to purchase through in game currency and the only market you have to actually use your money for are replay fuels and "items". oh and no dogfight mode to those who are curious about it
