speed is capped out. if you wanted the Minmatar Scout to go faster, you would be instead reducing the other suit's speed and the Minmatar's base speed. We're as fast as we'll get as long as we're on the PS3.

Nothing is supposed to beat the 15db. Gallente can by sacrificing everything useful. 3 complex and a basic to do that. now you are slow, paper thin, and blind. You only need a basic dampener to beat the second best proto with dampening and scout operations 5.
If anything, you should have a precision bonus so you can see other scouts with passive scanners. Gallente Scouts cannot see another scout on radar without it being LoS.
All in all, it seems like you're whining. |

OZAROW wrote:Whining really? So why can any 4 low slot suit beat the 15db], gallente assault an almost all logistic suits can beat this scanner with proto type suits in pc an dampeners an still have enough shields to play ghos an camp objectives an makes this a real imbalance if a scout cannot do this. So I excuse your ignorance , but their is no logic in this if a medium frame can run a ghost scout suit with a higher HP ontop of its layout. Especially since these bonuses where in play before the scanner an have rendered it useless for the job it's supposed to do in competive play, not whining sir just stating the obvious, sorry if your too ignorant to see the lack of logic in this. lol that was funny.
Yes, please excuse my ignorance for actually understanding math and that stacking penalties exist on all modules from damage modifiers, to profile dampeners, to range amplifiers, even if it doesn't specifically say it does.
To calculate the penalty you have to use math. I know it is hard and complicated, but that's just the way the world works, so I'm sorry if you can't fully comprehend it.
S(n) = 0.5^[((n-1) / 2.22292081) ^2] n = the nth module added S = stacking effect for this particular module addition
The reduction from each dampener starts at the base of 25% and on the 4th only does 7.07% reduction.
With a base Signature of 50, they would need 2 complex Profile Dampeners to become undetected to the 28 dB prototype scanners. Again, all you need is a basic profile dampener to lower your Signature below that. |
