I was gallente at uprising, but we had no scanner then an the mini speed an knives were amazing, so I got the respec that was optional, an I was averaging between 10-25 kill s with no gun just knives.
Then 1.2 an 1.3 totally destroyed this scout with the stamina nerfs, hit box increase, straf speeds an now the scanner. A min can't get below 15 db which is a serious problem an now useless for pc, on top of the nk hit detection problem on top of which armor is far superior to shields now.
So little while back I unlocked the g scout lv one, an am curantly leveling armor skills to 5 then I'm going for the gk.0
Last night I armor tanked my basic light gallente advanced with 400+ armor an 200 shields a k5 special an a toxin smg, both guns are at proficiency 4 an I averaged 15-25 kills dropping 3/4 mercs at a time with maybe 4-7 deaths a match or less.
With that much armor I can litteraly run out their clips until they reload then I rep an move on.
It's totally made me feel like a better player an I'm going to have both scouts eventually since almost all my low slot mods are maxed out.
I love knifing when it works but now that shotgunning is feasible I ll stick with a slower more tanked fit an look forward to having my skills increase an shine since I can actually take shots with this fit. |

Plus the armor speed reduction is way less now, complex plates used to have a 10% penalty now it's only 5, which is a huge difference , but try this mini fit.

That's like 700+ HP
With shields of like 343 that recharge faster than armor, only problem is how fast they drop.
I was shot gunning facts to face against roner general an we had even HP but he kept winning since armor is way stronger, I think dude had like 600 armor an 100+ shields , very hard to drop him, but my 343 shields was gone instantly the only thing kept me alive was 300+ armor which I think is the only way to run a minja now if your gonna let yourself be seen other wise it's too damn squishy |

Is he minmatar? Curious to know his style of play, if hes anything like you I'd rather have him on my team lol.
I think it's a good idea to have both scouts, especially once they fix the knives, but after playing with you the other day, I started with the sg again an had great night last night, best in forever, I realized how often nk hit detection has gotten me killed!
I'm so used to running 250 total HP, HUGE DIFFERENCE RUNNING 700 lol. |

For some odd reason I like using a reactive plate, an fk the speed just be sneaky. I imagine that a complex reactive with 2hp regen plus a cOmplex shield reg could really do the trik then stack damage or shields, but I'm all for armor this build especially if I'm shot gunning but speed an a dampener if I got the knives out |

It was more viable for me to run 2 kins an go 10.36 back when shields were stronger now it just seems like shields drop way too fast now, an I'm kinda addicted to running nova knives, I had my build down then from 1.2 to now its been a lot of finding out new an better combinations of how to be successful in the game, an oddly enough I'm digging the durability of the gallente scout an the shotgun although I find it really sluggish but I can afford to spec into at this stage, I'm not as confident shotgunning with a minmatar shot gunning an I have mad respec for those that don't lose all their shields doing it but I have more luck with a armored gallente, I think it's worth having both for separate reasons |
