Since CCP said it will be the best breach version, I think it's safe to say the base rail rifle model will be full auto. That's not to say that there won't be a tactical rail rifle variant. |

Hmm, I could see that actually. Perhaps it will have a small required charge up time, where the charge can't be held and fires immediately upon charge completion. So you just hold down the trigger and it will continually loop through this process until overheats. That does sound like a "breach" weapon to me in Dust terminology. Though I'd probably expect it to fire more than 3 shots before overheat and not do quite that much damage per shot. |

Just like the scrambler rifle is exactly the same as the tactical AR? Honestly I believe CCP is going to do something to make the rail rifle feel unique, so something like a full auto rifle but with a very fast charge up time required before each shot (thus artificially reducing the rate of fire) along with more range and damage. Simple enough and unique enough while still filling the archetype of a breach rifle. |

Im guessing the Rail Rifle will Be a Rail variant of the BURST AR.MAkes sense,sounds Caldari.... IMO that is.
Caldari is breach, Minmatar is burst. |
