 I just noticed that the Normal Maps of the terrain materials are inverted, producing weird shadows and highlights.
 
 Although this is not a bug and doesn't affect gameplay, It clearly affects the visual quality of Dust 514.

 I hpoe CCP can fix this.

I think i've noticed this and it's something i definitely don't like the look of and had been writing it off as a poor texture that was attempting to portray, for example, a rocky, gravelly sunlit surface but wasn't aligned with the direction of incoming light.
 
 I think it's why peeps sometime call the look of DUST 'cartoonish'.
 
 It wasn't high on my priority list so i was saving it for later.

 If they do fix it, it will look a lot better, that's for sure.
