Anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows something needs to be done with the AR and HMG. Here are my suggestions. AR: Increase the recoil and spread with continued fire, this will force players to burst fire instead of "blasting 'til they drop". OR They can nerf the magazine size of the ARs. HMG: Buff the minimum effective range and have the damage stay steady until 30m where it drops off. Also, either dispersion or damage needs a buff as well but not both because I'm not trying to sound biased. |

I wouldn't mind a reasonable addition ich Recoils and Dispersion for the AR, you just have to be carefull because most of the deadly accuracy is related to skills so if give the GAR strong Recoil/Dispersion on Operation and Sharpshooter lvl 5 it could become unusable without these skills.
Also Recoil and Dispersion has to be in line with the AsCR because if the GAR has too much Recoil compared to the AsCR, the AsCR would become OP as it has even now many plusses over the AR. |

I'd say take the current design of the HMG and throw it out the window, then copy/paste the minigun from the Brutal Doom mod. ADS button controls spool up time which affects initial spread when the trigger is pulled, but builds up heat while being loud enough to alert everyone in proximity. Bring back the pre-1.4 overheat operations skill and you have a proper HMG. |

Buff HMG Range. And have the skill affect Spread. Hve it have a little screen shake as to make the guy feel like he's hip fireing a fing minigun.

Thats all. I think of the HMG as a short-mid ranged weapon of mass destruction. It would be very effective against those point blank MLT ARs and still be a force at range without being OP.

Ccp hates heavies so don't expect them to fix them. Same goes for scouts. But what your saying is true. |

i mean for purposely getting my great perfectly balanced super tank thread idea locked.
no not at all...
ill just wait for bad luck to catch up to u..
but still ive used the assault scrambler and the assault rifle and just firing straight into a wall with out touching the aim stick just shows the the assault rifle has alot more recoil than an assault scrambler.
i think its the few head shots u get with the ar that make it seem so powerful.
those bullets can hit u from any where if they hit your head they will do alot of damage.
the body shots rnt that worry some to me but seeing how the newbies are much deadly for some reason i think some of the players should be happy for some extra challenge.
to go off topic here pve should be more important. |

I think the AR needs a mag size nerf too or an overheat. 60 rounds is too much. |
