Let me be clear, I use the scrambler rifle and pistol not in conjunction but as substitutes for each other depending on the situation. And that said, any distance where strafing becomes a factor the scrambler rifle will suit and out DPS the AR, any situation closer and it's very easy to quickly unload the entire pistol clip right in the enemy.

I really wish I had a means to record by battles outside of off-camera. Not to toot my own horn, but when I play I wonder why I rarely see the scrambler rifle/pistol combo. Then I go to youtube and see so many AR/SMG combos that, while yes is really easy, looks incredibly boring and in many cases inefficient.

Having said that, i have maxed out SMG's and Scrambler Pistols, but i am using the basic Flaylock, its either that or no sidearm to my Imperial, i dont have PG left on my suit and its at 92/92 PG, let alone 10 PG for a decent pistol :/

You see the problem most people have with this game is that they are stupid. I'm glad I ran into a fellow pistol user and weapon situationally aware person

I learn to move and hide. Draw them in and blast em. Assault are fine. Seems most people use em nit cause they are OP but comfortable. You find plent if assault weapons in most other games so they know how to use em and thus its easy. So shush little one.

This was pretty much the state of the game for a while now, and 1.4 made it even more so. I think CCP is tone deaf to the wake up call.
