So, I wanted to figure out how to spend my mad amounts of SP that accrue in the 8 hours that I don't play DUST (while working, I gave up sleep).
I thought, "Man, there's gotta be an app for my iPhone!" because I don't want to slap the outfitter that exists for Excel on my work compy.
Lo and behold...nothing comes up for Dust 514!
Someone out there, help me improve my fittings and how I spend my precious SP. I will give you dollars for a good app! ...And I'm guessing a lot of other folks would too. |

Until CCP provides for service calls like they do for EVE you get nothing. I don't want to manually build a database of skills. I couldn't even keep my spreadsheet up to date. |

I don't pay a ton of attention to the CCP structure, but perhaps they simply need someone to talk to the person in charge--make it an "official" sort of app. It could look just like their current tree, and you could tap on the skills, with a running total of ISK and SP at the bottom of the screen, plus a reset "this" and a reset "all" pair of buttons....
CCP could only stand to win from this. More people thinking about their game and how to make it work is more people playing is more people being impatient and buying augments....
The skill sheets are challenging to put together, and I really do appreciate the effort that goes into it; that's exactly why I feel that an app that mirrors the current tree is a good thing. This is something I want to do while not on the compy! |
