I look at it this way:
I play on mostly corp/alliance squads and very often (>75%) of the time we are the dominant squad on our team. Because we make sure that our squad leader is giving a defense order, that means that on average we can get 10%-20% more WP than we would normally, strictly from squad bonuses. Additionally, just the practice of working together will probably net you and your squad more WP.
So, you are probably making isk for your corp, but you are probably getting a significanly better chunk of isk by consistently being in a squad as a result of being in a corp.
...unless you are a tower/ridge sniper far away from your squad leader. |

lol weekly salary...
- I shouldn't have to get paid to play for my corp. If I need financial help then yea, getting some money to help out is fine. Loyalty doesn't need a paycheck.
- Paying people different salaries will promote inner corp problems. If you don't see why, then you haven't been in a clan / corp long enough.
It's a terrible idea, and it's one I'm sure some corps practice. Wonder what's gonna happen when someone offers more money or the ISK dries up |

From what I've seen, experienced, and heard, TP, STB, and OH pay the biggest salaries and in that order.
However, they're all very PC oriented and you have to constantly play if you want the big money. |

Salaries would be a stupid amount of work for large corps. We're basically space communists. Say you fight in a PC battle or some event that the corp is organizing (like dropship training), we'll reimburse people for vehicles lost. Kinda how it works in space for most nullsec entities. Anything larger scale than that is going to have to wait for mechanics to improve. The ideal setup I think would be for the corp to be able to take a dropsuit fitting and save it as a corp fit. Then use corp funds to buy copies of that fit to store in a hangar / armory that would be accessible in battles that an officer has designated as reimburseable.
Then when you spawn you either select one of your personal fits, or you take one of ones from the common pool. |

In RND we voted to keep the tax. I've heard we are gaining a lot. Vehicle users get very large sums, compared to infantry that is. |

But yeah, Subdreddit basically just lets you enter a request to get money from the tax pool. You ask for money, state your reason, and then receive money. Great for budding tank and dropship pilots. This might cease to exist when we get larger and people start to abuse the system or we find it unsustainable, but then we'll probably just follow the example of Test Alliance in Eve and offer reimbursements or hopefully someday in the future offer a Test_free hangar where noobs can pick and choose what they want to use out of a corporate hangar. |

Move corp then. We are taxing between 10% & 15% normally.
