I go 40-0 and still lose to my Logibro in WP sometimes and am totally fine with it. Why would you be mad that somebody is beating you in WP for doing their job? That's pretty selfish of you.

so i run a heavy right but when i play w/ my bros my freind gos 16/7 with 1500+ wp and tops the board while im at 23/5 at third wtf ccp its like i cant even touch them any more no how much i contribute i cant get a high nuf wp total even with tank kills

*note my freind usually beats our sqds tanker in wp too

If he's a logi then more power to him. You will always see us logi's topping the score boards.

Equipment helps the team more than your "pewpewpew" play style ever could. How about when you run out of ammo and there is no Supply Depot? How about when you have 2 Armor remaining and you need reps BAD?

I didn't say betrayal and debauchery weren't valid tactics!

So we're on to nerfing Logi's warpoints? I'm now officially waiting for the Plasma Cannon nerf thread.

Eh, too many people complicate things, when we do this we want the least amount of complication... of variables required.

As a heavy I often go 20-3 or whatever and end up behind a logi on, say, 4-3, but I don't think logis get too many points overall. I'd say there are some things they get too many points for, but also some things they get too few points for. Here's a couple of things that get points and shouldn't:

(1) Picking people up in the line of fire so they die again. This wastes the time of two team members (my time, because it takes me longer to respawn, and the trollogi's time, because they could be doing something useful instead). To deal with that, I suggest that there is zero WP for revives that result in a death within 5 seconds.

(2) Surrounding supply depots with ammo nanohives. Again, this does absolutely nothing for the team, as if you're at a supply depot, you don't need a hive, and means a team member (the trollogi) is wasting time. To deal with that, I suggest zero WP for nanohives within ten metres of a supply depot.

On the other hand, I'd also like to see WP for active scanners, more WP for using advanced and proto needles, and maybe more WP for repping. After you make all these changes good logis would end up with more WP than they get now.
