Ok.... sooo folks, am I the only one that noticed the AR is now the only weapon owning our A$$es? A 5 or 6 hit kill from a GEK is a bit much don't you think? Or that I can drop a heavy suit sporting the HMG 9 out of 10 times with the militia AR? Unless its a Caldari suit against my assault ScR and I sneak up on him, I get dropped in a few hits. And I mean about the same gear level too. The GEK vs the CRD9, Adv. Assault Amarr vs Adv Assault Cal.... I average about 500 HP on my Amarr assault. Now say what you will about my skill, I'm just wondering if you guys feel the same way. |

Six shots is relative impossible on any half decent fit. 32.5 x6= 195 No suit but scout suits go down that fast and only poorly fitted ones at that.
Idk man, It feels that way. I'm probably wrong, I was just more or less looking to see how many other people who actually use something other than the AR feel since the "fix" on 1.5. 6 hit kill maybe not, the duvolle still drops you before you can react half the time since the hit detection was.... "fixed" |

"fixed" I know what you mean, feels like AR can outshoot my lasers and scramblers at range...... not supposed to happen by eve standards, shouldn't happen in dust.
That's my point exactly.... Isn't the AR supposed to be a blaster? By EVE standards the range should be the first drawback of the AR. I just hope CCP made a simple mistake, instead of seemingly catering to the CoD player base... That would be a shame. |

There is no "Standard" Weapon in EVE/ Dust. It's not CoD dude, read up. Every weapon are supposed to have it's specialty, not one gun for all situations. Second I mentioned that I can take on a heavy in a free suit BC its WRONG to be able to 1v1 unless the dude has no skill, he should be able to take me. Third I don't normally use free suits, if an adv gun takes me, then it should. I'm not a newb, you on the other hand are a troll, a very small minded troll.... what a shame. |

Lol you can have it, I'm clearly not too crazy about the AR. But it boils down to the majority rules. Majority of players use the AR and by listening to most while I play cuss and swear when they die by anything else but the AR. They feel like everyone should use it because it's the so called "Standard Weapon". It's cool, I was just wondering how you guys felt about this opinion, and hoped maybe a director would chime in. Not very creative overall but fun nonetheless. The AR is stupidly OP with it's pinpoint accurate bullet hose, fat magazine, aimbot assisted long range dps. Dust 514 has been ruined by it. Hail AR 514. Hail king AR. Dust, like Eve should have no generalist weapon, let alone the ridiculously OP AR that we have now.
