I want to be able to deploy a small corgi that runs around and humps enemies legs
It'd be called the corgtedo. The advanced corgtedo would pee on snipers. The prototype would poop on protos.
The humped enemy would also appear on the mini-map and the deployer would get a kill assist if someone else kills him. |

Trip wires- Explosive trap, scout only ability. Radar scrambler - you know what it does. Comms hack - Scout can "hack" corpses, revealing squad locations for x amount of seconds medic pack, instantly heals armor HP to full, 1 carried, non refillable ROV/Drone - user can fly it around within 200m range, equipped with scanner upgradable with small turret(not small vehicle turret) |

Hacking Jammers, positional assets, used to slow down hacks in a certain range, perhaps useful if doors are implemented.

Cloaking, self explanatory.
Heavy Defence Field, a Heavy only module that lets them become briefly resistant to all forms of damage (20-30%).

Have the drone equipped with a sidearm slot. It would have to be a vehicle to call it in as well, because you can't fit a weapon on an equipment. I think this would be very balanced. Nova knives wouldn't be equippable I think though. I can actually imagine SMG or Scrambler Pistol wielding drones buzzing around killing snipers/ rooftop forgeguns, and destroying equipment. There should also be a hacking tool/repair tool that you could replace the sidearm with, the hacking would take 1.5x or 2x longer to hack things than it does with your Pip-Boy. As far as slots and fitting resources go, they don't have much. They might have 1-2 slots at proto level, possibly no slots at standard level. At prototype level the frame could cost something like 35k isk. You would barely be able to fit a prototype weapon on a prototype frame. They would fit infantry modules, despite being a vehicle, and would be unlocked with equipment skills rather than vehicle skills. These would be an equipment for all intents and purposes, but they would just he called in with an RDV instead of thrown on the ground by infantry. These things would need to be fragile, with only 150-200 EHP, because they are going to be a small and somewhat agile target. They won't be able to strafe very well because they would carry momentum in the air. Make them faster than an HAV, but slower than a LAV, perhaps 75% the speed of an LAV. Their size would be about the size of a normal beach ball but a bit smaller. Collision damage would be almost nonexistent because they would not have much mass, they would need to hit a wall at almost full speed to blow up. Their scan profile would be large, as to not encroach too much on the realm of scouts. They would also have a fairly distinctive and loud noise when they are within 20-30m. These are not shealth machines, they are recon and sabotage devices. Their maximum range should be about 200-250 meters from the control point. When aproaching the edge of their range the get a warning. When the leave the effective range they fall out of the sky, and depending on their altitude, can be recalled by the user if they survive the fall. |

tracking disrupters. stasis webifiers. remote sensor dampeners. target painters. remote shield reppers, cloak (not invisible, but predator style water effects), effectiveness enhancers for each of the current equipment types. what new eden calls 'rigs'.
I think that target painters and tracking disrupters are key. if they work like eve, then ewar will become the facilitator of new players to out-think the old stock. team tactics and theory crafting. that's what eve is about. |

1. A small drone that will hack the nearest objective/installation. Can only carry 1, and the drone would hack about 10% slower than a player at MLT/STD, 9% slower at ADV, and 5% slower at Proto. This drone should also eat up a ton of CPU. Also, after hacking something successfully, the drone would self-destruct itself. 2. An AoE scanner. At STD, all enemies detected on the low precision scanner would only show up on your radar. At ADV, the slightly better scanner would show up on your squad's radar. Finally, at Proto, the high-precision scanner would light up all enemies detected on your entire teams radars. Any enemy detected at any level would blink like they were scanned by an Active Scanner. 3. A throwable scanner. Same stats as previous AoE scanner, but 5% redundant across all tiers. 4.A recon drone, capable of traveling 150 meters away from the owner. Any enemy held in the cross hairs of the drone would be scanned. This effect would increase across all tiers. 5. BUBBLE SHIELDS :P 6. Deployable profile Dampeners. At STD any friendly profile entering the high- visible bubble (similar to the nano hive) would have their scan profile reduced by 5%. At ADV 10%' and at PRO 15%. While in this bubble due to a radical change of the scan profile of the dropsuit, all friendly scan radius' are decreased at the same level their profiles are dampened |

Hovering nanohive bots that follow Logis? Though the extra equipment slots on a logi would sound like this would be for them, my brain tells a different tale.... I see the future role of scouts to be split into several. One being a sneaky little saboteur type, 2 equipment slots, for remotes and also tripwires. Sneaking into enemy areas and booby traping the area. I also see a scout with the ability to hack uplinks to spawn allies, nanohives either to explode when the enemy goes to us it, or blue so allied forced can use it.

I agree with just about everything other than a hacking tool. I don't really like that TBO. For the rest I'd say 150-200hp good, 1 slot only, for a side arm, make them twice as fast as a scout, not anywhere near car speeds though.

I got them to kill those pesky LAVs not the Logistics but the free ones people would murder taxi people in grouped them together and baited them to their death. Proxies are actually quite useful you get what 6 at proto tier 6x750 is 4,500 than factor in whatever armor bonus you recieve which will probably give you in between 5,000 and 6,000 damage their not meant to kill tanks themselves but can when the all hit at once the driver does not have the chance to activate modules 1 or 2 follow up AV nades/FG/swarm/even the plasma cannon will finish it off for sure. I once killed a tank by placing 4 proxies and 3 remotes it didn't stand a chance. |
