You must undestand that most good tankers are not here QQing all the time. As you can see, there is at least 1 Tank QQ thread per page all the way up to page 25. we have tankers whining about AV nades,Swarms,Forge guns,(obviously , anything with the capacity to kill them) even some dude requesting for heavies not to be able to use LAV's. Use your numbers and stadistics , NOT FORUM FEEDBACK. The numbers you will see tell a different story these ''TANKERS'' tell here on the forums....Tanks DONT do bad,Tanks are NOT UP. TAnks ARE NOT WEAK. And PROTO TANKS are not needed. As it is , unless the map provides you with a VERY favorable AV position, in order to take a tank you need a LOT of firepower,luck and some teamwork, as it should be.....and its not uncommon for even with all this, to be unable to take down a tank...
Also, consider (if giving them a ''HP BUFF'') reducing the tanks speed. You know they are tanks not ferraris and the f***s already outrun the fastest of scouts,making it very difficult to get confirmed kills.
Also, if a tank is -+- HP, Recall SHOULD NOT BE AN OPTION. With the speed tanks boost , hit an run tactics are very abusable. As it is a tanker can attack, get hit 2-3 times, run away, recall damaged tank, call in another one....

Yeah,sure...K-D ratios of 4+ and loosing 1 tank every 5 games is NOT a tragedy.... You guys overreact, a LOT.... As a Heavy who has chased HAVs around and around maps, eventually running out of ammo for my Assault Forge, only to watch the tank speed away, I wholeheartedly approve this message.
FG that chase tanks never do aswell as those who hold an area hostage, keeping the tank outskirted. |

It's never enough for them to keep the tank at bay, it always must be destroyed right now with minimal effort. You just don't get it. What do we get for "keeping a tank at bay"? Answer: Repeatedly killed by zerging infantry because we are outfitted with AV. There is no reward system for holding an HAV off. You tankers want to ROTFL stomp infantry, and you currently do. I'm so tired of seeing bad tankers on the forums crying. Boo hoo tanks are UP waaah wahhhhhhhhh. Tell me what sense does it make for a tank to be able to outrun swarms? Yes, you can, so don't even try to lie and say you can't! If I can get to within 20m of the back of your tank, hit you with 4 shots from a proto Assault FG Prof. 3, 2 Comp. Dmg. Mods, while another guy is hitting you with Proto Swarms With Compl Damage mods, and you are able to escape, regen, return, tanks are in absolutely no way UP. Cry Moar! GTFO! Get Good! HTFU!

So tired of seeing AV people cry because non AV fitted infantry can kill them, or they swarmed a tank with all modules ready, then wonder why the tank got away( The reason being, your tactics were flawed), or forge gunner thinking they should be able to drive up to a tank and kill it instantly, then when they don't they jump in their LAV to chase it, in this time the tank is getting all its modules back.
Both sets of tactics are flawed. There are AV players who don't have these issues, because they know how to kill tanks, others think that grabbing lolswarms or a FG is an instant win ticket.

Aren't we all playing for WP? Isn't it a fact that the more WP you get, the larger your payout? So let me get this straight, you should be able to kill me 5 or 6 times in the process of me pushing you back. LOL because AVers can tell when you have/have not used your modules. Do you hear me crying because "FG is underpowered I can't one shot a tank" NO! I'm simply saying that tanks are not UP. We play to win, payout is higher if team wins. Keeping the tank away from objective for your team will be more effective than just chasing it around the country side, then posting here cuz you couldn't kill a tank with a FG and a swarmer from 20m. If your getting killed 5-6 times trying to kill the tank, your tactical postioning is off.
As for the modules LEARN and ADAPT, I see it as very obvious when a tanks guard drops, If your AV its a must to have knowledge of this. Especially if you have spent many many hours practicing with your FG, you should have noticed tanks attack patterns, how long they stick around, when they high tail it etc. Thats not an OP/UP tank, thats a lack of skill on your behalf.

Maybe you thought you got good, with how easy the FG is against infantry and so-so tankers, but you've admitted your being outclassed my the real ones.
I also play to win. if I chase the tank around, hitting him constantly with AV, is that not effectively keeping him from an objective? It is, because he is too busy avoiding me, and trying to stay repped to return to attack my team. If I just sit at the objective, tanker will just repeatedly attack/escape/rep/attack. How does that help? If I get killed 5 - 6 times suppressing the tank is that not sacrificing myself for my team and for the win? So as a Forge Gunner on the ground, you can hit me 3 times with your blaster and kill me before I can charge my FG, but I have bad tactical positioning, when I have to get close enough to hit you with 5 - 6 shots to kill you before you escape to the redline to regen? So what would be a better tactical position? On top of a Tower? You see it as obvious when your guard drops. Hmm well I would hope so considering you are the one operating the Tank. AVers are not given an alert stating "Madrugar has activated Armor Hardeners" or "Madrugar has activated Afterburner" or "Madrugar has activated Armor Repair". We have no way of knowing before we take our first shot what state your modules are in. Yes I now enough to fire after the hardener is in cool down and the repairer is finished, but the repairer requires the HAV to take damage before it is even turned on. Most HAVs can hit their repairer when one shot would finish them and be gone before I can charge my FG. As I said, if you watch em you should learn. I won't say how but if you know how you can screw a tank over very fast.
When your chasing the tank around with FG your team loses an effective infantry suppressor. There are forgegunners on this game who just seeing their name on the enemy roster can stop me calling in vehicles. They know how to render a tank useless whilst being in the infantry battle. Just because you skilled into FG, doesn't mean your skilled wit |

I see forge gunners in the battle all the time, the good ones know their role, their ability and their weakness. The play it perfect which makes them even better. On dust theres only a handful of people who know how to play a forge gunner. Theres a whole bunch who try. |
