I've only used the Caldari and Gallente assault suits(though to be fair, I only used the Caldari before we got Gallente assaults)
And I'm wondering what each suit is best at doing. In my experience with Caldari suits they are better at being a Orbiting assault and hit and runs. They can effectively attack a target then move to the next. Not the best for dealing with multiple suits but effective at 1v1s(as I'm sure most assault suits are anyway)
For Gallente, they were UP before the armour buff and now they feel just up to par. I'd like to see a +2 buff to base PG but otherwise I'm happy with it(though you really need to max out all skills to use it well)
As for what the Gallente assault is best for, I would say it's kind of a more mobile heavy suit. Good for point defense and works well in a group. It's a very survivable suit, but because of the slow nature of armour reps your kind of forced to seat on the side lines for a bit between fights if they eat into your limited buffer.
tl;dr what do you think each assault suits best and worst role is? |

Aim... shoot... skill... I don't think that's true. while they are the frontline and are meant to be killers, I think some perform better at other for various tasks.
Even though we only have 2 scouts, I feel they both perform better at different things. Minjas for stealth killing then getting the fudge out. Gallente for..uhhhh eWar...when we get it... |

tl;dr what do you think each assault suits best and worst role is? I use Caldari for its mobility, tried Gallente didnt like it. Less HP but more movement. As you said hit and run tactics are fun for the caldari but at the same time taking down 2-3 enemys at a time is as easy as the 1v1's if your popping in and out of cover, I do it all the time While the gallente assaults stay defensive for the most part (Stacked with Armor and Damage mods) Caldari suits fit my play style perfectly considering I like to run behind enemy lines hacking objectives and killing strays Minnie assault would fit that play style better... Nah I dont like being squishy. C assault has the right balance of hp and speed for me. I like shields over armor. BUT I did build a suit for defensive roles that kiks azz, 965 hp at present. 582 shield 383 armor. I have Biotics maxed but still dont like the lack of speed from the plates =/ Try a Gal scout then good sir. Some people have gotten them up to 500 ehp with no speed reduction. |

Unless you just use MLT suits for everything...but those things are way too sticky inside(they also smell) |
