If you already have equipment skilled up to proto, I'd go with the logi.
But if you are looking for a second suit I'd go with the min logi. The hacking bonus is great and overall the min logi is the most versatile suit.
The calogi is the best assault suit in the game at the moment though. Speed matters not. Dual tank the calogi and throw a damage mod on. If you are short CPU just drop an equipment or two. Apparently CCP didn't want people logi'ing in that suit anyway.
In your situation I'd stick with the calogi and dump SP elsewhere.

Repair tools are pretty good but have been crippled because you can no longer see the health of enemies.
Repair tools will always be better than triage nanohives unless you're a shield suit.
Agreed, for calogi I'm only running a combo allotek hive and a scanner. If I had that 50 CPU I'd run an uplink as well.
Instead of running regulators I run plates. Shields don't recover as fast but I can drop two alloteks in dire situations and be full enough to finish off whomever comes around the corner with a grenade.
I used to run a proto ammo hive and triage hive with a proto uplink. I could set an excellent front line for pushing points with two triage and an ammo hive near a choke point, set an uplink a little further back and it was on.
The level of stupidity nerfing the CPU of a logi to prod us from being assaults is hard to comprehend. It's like taking water and soda from the designated driver at a bar. Perhaps it's nothing like that, but both are stupid things to do.
I don't even refer to myself as a logi anymore, but I honestly miss it. But it makes zero economic sense to run over 70K of equipment on a glass suit in this build. |

Well the OP is in my corp so before he dumps 2.4 mil SP into a new suit that won't perform any better than the one he's got I'll throw out my opinion.
And the best advise I can give to anybody is to not chose things by using a crystal ball to anticipate nerfs. That is as stupid as it gets in my opinion. |

How can one be disappointed in the calogi? This build killed speed tanking. I questioned people dual tanking a calogi when people were QQing about it.
Dual tanking a calogi is beast mode in this build. Nerfing the CPU suit gave it one purpose, beast mode assault suit. |
