The Scout LAV should have a nitrous built in, and a 50% speed boost from standard, but be super easy to destroy.
If you've ever played F-Zero, I'm talking about the red rocket (or whatever it's called).
But no. The speed of the scout LAV vs the speed of a normal LAV is just plain silly. It's not even worth it. |

I fully agree here, in fact in may have less CPU/PG than a militia LAV, and costs 80k , wtf ? CCP!!!! |

as someone who has a habbit of racing LAVs i can say the scout LAV isnt worth it.
you can make a charbarous have higher exceleration unless you absolutly max out the scout LAVs passive torque boost.
and even then its made of paper.
the charby is the best racecar and can fit a nitrus and 2 jovians in the lows making it the king of racing on the battlefield.
and can take some serious hits from the peopel who always want to interupt your race. |

Actually an abron with 2 jovians and a nitrous is the best race car in the game, it's wet tissue paper strong but it's an absolute joy to drive. Scout LAV's need a active scanner built in, right now you can fit a chary to be a better scout with more tank. |

I don't use it though would be interested in min version.
As I see it its more than a MLT LAV with paint job. its like having a overdrive built in and a rotation enhancer for the turret. It would be the best hit and run LAV and the gunner would be able to get some impressive drive by kills if done right |

in LAV racing the ability to survive a lap around the track is key and since we like to rub bumpers a little bit scout LAVs tend to explode on contact with us charby drivers.
the scouts dont have what it takes to run nascar style, although f1 style they are a powerhouse its just not possable to run that way in the current game. |

They're like the scouts of the vehicle world, almost useless but ridiculously fast, to anyone who's specced gallente LAV's I urge you to spec into an abron add two jovians and a nitrous to the fit, then take it for a drive, in your redline of course, it handles so smoothly. |

armor LAVs have alot better handling then their shield counterparts, the extra weight really gives it that edge it needs to compete with the shield guys |

scout LAV does make a better F1 car
if we have a controlled game mods where we could race without getting shot at then they would absolutly rock int hat environment |

I've never used them but I know someone who has, and he said they are a hellofalot faster than the normal ones. |

Scout LAVs are actually a big step up from regular LAVs as far as doing what they're meant for.
However, all LAVs are terrible at what they're meant for, so they're still bad. |
