I actually just came from a Skirmish where someone called in a DS, got in it, only to be slammed back into the ground thanks to the guy that called in a tank and then recalled it. How did that game go? We lost terribly. I gave up capping roughly two minutes into the game when I watched as two people run past the uncaptured point near the spawn and then die shortly after to the ambush of people that already captured the three points near their own spawn. Back to Ambush I go!

acomplishes the same thing without invalidating STD/ADV/PRO gear and vehicles for most players.
Well, if you want to really get into it, people get butthurt over being needled because it still counts as a death. Got to remember that kids these days have fragile egos that is apparently catered by numbers in virtual reality.
Granted, ISK destroyed/ISK lost is similar to K/D ratio. It wouldn't stop the kids from hiding out in their spawn with snipers. I see the whole "leaderboard" concept silly.
Could use some more needles... |
