1. Race visual - Caldari missile strikes, Amarr laser, Gall charge (current style), Min projectile.
2. Laser targeting - Squad members could have the ability (maybe module? Maybe for Assault equipment spot) to laser point out targets for squad leader to drop. Also could highlight targets for other vehicles to?
3. Painter grenade - Similar to above, squad member trained in special Ops grenades and paint targets for orbital strikes and other vehicles. (also for all squad special black ops swarm launcher missiles to lock-on to?)

I've never looked into these threads so I don't know if this idea has been thought of but what about an emp blast? It could be cheaper to get but only take out enemy equipment (uplinks...) in an orbital sized range. I know many times my squad has used an orbital to clear off uplinks on top of spires. I think this would be an interesting way compromise. |

Nice, EMP blast for 1500 - I was thinking would remove all shields like the grenade does.. but off everything! And it should disable enemy equipment for a time. Or destroy it to! as you said above. |

And it should disable enemy equipment for a time. Or destroy it to! as you said above.
Haha never even thought of shields. That would definitely be a better idea. |

Lastly, their is already a laser strike (sadly though, the charges from both laser types look the same; same with rails and blasters). Also, Gallente use hybrid weapons, but they're not the only ones who use hybrids (Caldari loves the rails), so don't group them like that. |

Yet and still I don't want EMP blasts in Dust. Don't like it. Cause if that's the case, the only thing working would be a rifle. Every thing we use, uses energy. Lets consider it before we say "oh this is cool!"

Squad communication (which should be cut off if we talking about EMP blasts). If it's Ambush? Okay, maybe but if it's OMS, then supply depots are out of it. Domination and Skrimish? That means null cannons are offline. Why should either team be allowed to hack an objective? Now its just a Ambush match for the time being.
The only thing you would have is iron sights for a rifle and grenades. Not to mention that your dropsuit works on a PG and CPU grid and since weapons use PG, wouldn't that also be affected? It sounds game breaking to me.
So yea, a COD favorite shouldn't have any place here. |

IIRC an EMP orbital already exists, but it requires an EVE player to be in orbit waiting to strike. |

Minmatar - will probably be some kind of missle strike, I'm hoping it'll have a fancy spacecraft fly by that launches several missles within orbit.
Gallente - No idea really, all I could think of is maybe a faster rapid fire version the amarr's laser strike. Although I am hoping for something like Command & Conquer's controllable Ion Cannon where you can choose the path of the laser. |

so, the minmatar weapons are unaffected? They're standard bullets, chemically generated(not powered) kinetic damage weapons. they don't really need anything other than a trigger pull to function(save for the HMG). even their sights are simple plastic sheet flip up sights with printed on markings, so nothing broken there |

The Minmatar scout probably wouldn't use a laser painter, just light a fire in a barrel where u want the drop. |

Think out of the box... Why not a cluster drop. The missiles are deployed in a special orbital strike Min rocket (speed up travel time). Missile cluster opens after they have entered orbit. I just want a visual difference for each race. Would be cool to know its an enemy or friendly strike. And for storyline players in FW only fighting for one side for fun. It would add some depth. |

I don't think Dust players have really being delivered the race backstory and current story very well. |

Something that kills even if people are in side of a building It doesn't have to destroy the building just the people so I'm thinking something like radiation. It can kill them slowly with something like a bleeding effect or instantly but with a smaller blaster radius.

They should create a "Strike", that damages the hostile MCC. This would bring a new element to the game. If a team is losing in clones, but are winning in Null Cannons objectives, they can simply drop the "MCC Strike" to help win the match. This would make it to where team work and the objectives would trump pure skill level at gun game. |

Make it drag able the more you drag it out the less damage you do but the more area you cover and vice versa, this way you don't need to do 10,000 damage to infantry that's way too over kill. You can also drag it in so you will do enough damage to kill any tank, this will require skill drag it in you have to be precise to hit your target, drag it out too much you don't do enough damage to kil anyone. The limit will be the number beams for example the one now has say 7 beams that strike down 3 times that each do say 750 damage so stretch it out far enough and only 21 beams will strike once for 750 damage not able to kill extremely well fit drop suits. |

during matches squads generally earn more than one OB. i'd like to be able to stack OBs to increase range and damage so 1 OB comes from a 'small' turret as standard, 2 OBs from a 'medium' turret and 3 come from a 'large' turret maybe if you're lucky to get 4 it comes from an XL turret |

Angled strikes - Like carpet bombing would allow you get to under into some buildings, there would still be a few safe spots but I think that is good.

Giant smoke bomb that muffles noise, creating the perfect environment for a dropship to deploy troops stealthily.
Strike which renders enemy minimaps useless by dropping dozens of signal emitting robots around the map which roam around randomly and so appear to be infantry on the minimap.
A huge light beam (imagine an eve ship with a giant magnifying glass) focused in a point, causing massive damage to units in the beam and leaving a fire burning in the area. Only works at day time.
Veldspar shower. A cargo ship unloads its precious cargo of ore within the gravitational pull of the planet, causing the said mined ore to fall on the heads of hapless mercenaries. Victor gains ore as salvage to sell at double price to Chribba.
False orbital. Tone sounds and the targeting beam is displayed, but the orbital strike never comes.
Eclipse. Dozens of ships in space block out the sun, causing use battlefield to fall into a temporary night/twilight.
Agricultural calling. Thousands of frozen seedlings are deployed from orbit, and the heat generated from entering the atmosphere defrosts them, showering the district with little plants.
Growth hormone and fertiliser. Preferably to be used after 'agricultural calling' to cause seeds to rapidly grow encasing the district in an instant jungle.
Vegeta - a capsuleer pod smashes into the ground, capsuleer gets out, realises the mercenaries around him have power levels over 9000, gets back in pod and returns to space.
Propaganda - an eve pilot gets a chance to shower the district with posters with his eve extended trial link and any bonuses offered with using the link.
Chocolate rain - it's not chocolate. Requires 10000WP.
Ninja strike - invisible and silent orbital strike, strikes an area the size of an installation. Useful for suddenly destroying that annoying tank without the pilot knowing wtf is goin on.
Super anti-ground strike. Annihilates all except aerial vehicles. CONDOR SQUAD UNITE!
Tiercide strike - damage done by the strike is increased by 10% prototype item equipped.
Wingardium Leviosa - gravity is nullified for a moment.
The power of music - some epic music plays for your team and your team only. Enemy team will realise what's going on when your teams battle performance dramatically improves.
Selfishness tester strike - when struck by the strike, all must nominate someone to die for them. Majority wins, but if someone nominates him/herself, it goes to him/her. If multiple people vote themselves, they all die.
Sloth strike - units struck move slower until they get out of the affected area.
