I've never looked into these threads so I don't know if this idea has been thought of but what about an emp blast? It could be cheaper to get but only take out enemy equipment (uplinks...) in an orbital sized range. I know many times my squad has used an orbital to clear off uplinks on top of spires. I think this would be an interesting way compromise. |

I think this would be an interesting way compromise. Nice, EMP blast for 1500 - I was thinking would remove all shields like the grenade does.. but off everything! And it should disable enemy equipment for a time. Or destroy it to! as you said above.
Haha never even thought of shields. That would definitely be a better idea. |
