A large problem that plagues infantry is when they're down, they're usually down because they got caught right out in the middle of the open. Reviving them would only feed the enemy kills which just overall discourages it altogether. Also, some logis out there revive downed teammates before they get the choice to commit suicide to prevent being picked up. Please delay the ability to revive a downed teammate until they can at least have the choice to not be picked up.
On a further note, adding the ability to carry teammates dead bodies to safety should be implemented. I know I know, players may decide to abuse it to carry a bluedot to a secluded area and boost with an enemy merc. Thats why I suggested the better death screen/suicide option above ^^ to give the downed merc a choice between risking a booster getting 1 extra kill off on him or saving his suit.
Moreover, how do you tell the difference between a teammate trying to carry you out or revive you right where you died? To be clear, I believe nanites should not work instantaneously. When someone injects a dead body with nanites, there should be a 3-5 second delay before they kick your gears back in motion. This should give downed players a heads up for when someone is trying to pick them up right out in the middle of the open. Similarly, there should be a notifier for when you are picked up and being carried. This new feature could be best utilized by the new heavy dropsuit I suggested (which is still up for debate and balancing). |

How about giving downed mercs the ability to crawl for a short distance and maybe get into cover? Doing so of course would draw attention and could lead to you getting shot again, but that risk is always there. |

If crawling were implemented it would just discipline everyone to watch the bodies they just killed. Of course if thats what everyone wants then sure. Feel like giving everyone the opportunity to go out on a limb and carry a teammate to safety over their shoulder would better serve for the purpose of getting them revived correctly since someone running with a person on their back as opposed to someone half-dead crawling... lol |

Not Gonna Happen. lol wut? its just a GUI and stat change for the revive. Maybe the carrying feature will take a while but I highly doubt it will take any more than 1 day of coding. |
