CCP,
On January 29th 2014 you should do what ever you need to do and get access to MAG rights from SONY and then take the best elements of both of these games and combine them.
Here is an example of what DUST could use from MAG right now to improve DUST 100 fold,
MAG's in game command structure.
-Squad Leader
-Platoon Leader
-OIC
And the VOIP stystem that supported these roles.
DUST also really could use MAG's Command Abilities Structure seen here,

You see this way you would not have to try and reinvent the wheel you could just make the wheel better. 
Anyway CCP I hope you give it some thought.

EVE's command structure believe it or not is one of the most complex in gaming... As some corporation's have over 5 thousand member's and a giant hierarchy that goes along with what they can do in Alliance controlled space/assets... and then corporation space/asset's .... Dust's UI compared to EVE is like using a Fischer Price Toy then going to fly an exact replica ww2 model plane... And one of the major problems with merging EVE and DUST closer together... However its sad about the timing of this choice... But better done now(sadly said) then Black friday/Christmas time when people will have more free time. DUST needs someone from CCP Iceland that runs the EVE UI team as the boss or the number 2 to come to CCP Shanghai and hammer a reasonable timeline for development out.. It feels as if we are blindly feeling around in the dark without a proper plan... and that's what CCP has to get hammered out more then anything. The plan.
