Rough week for CCP. No dev blog, patch effectively got pushed back, should make for a fun next month or so as the player count continues to recede and we get to look forward to a depressing lack of content throughout the winter.
Oh wait, I'll be on my PS4 by then, only using the PS3 for the occasional run of GTA 5. |

Yep, just checked Eve-offline.net and it seems like the last half of the month has seen numbers barely breaking the 3,000 mark.
With the new games coming out soon as well as a new console in just two months Im wondering where the state of development is heading...
New squad finder? How will that matter if there's no one to play with/against?  |

also compare Wednesday thru Friday to the rest of the week.
the few hanging on are getting on to get their cap and then its a ghost town.

My whole friends list on PSN is filled with people getting their GTA on, and Corp chat has been a ghost town. I haven't even seen my familiar AFK'ers on this week.
I'm honestly surprised that those people who are fully committed to the Dust project as players haven't launched a mass assault on EoN, because there would be no better time then when they might be busy with a better game.
Except that even those guys are playing GTA right now.

Guys, an interesting fact i read. In a month (which is the predicted amount of timebetween patches) they have 20 work days (TWENTY!!).
So not only have they no time for procrastination (like everyone here) they have a rediculously short itme scale to make stuff work. And when everyone blows up about stuff being moved around then I say ;
'YOU GO AND HAVE A GO' Because what we ask on these forums and what we get is two different beasts.
So ill ask you to be respectful, bring up the REALLY important issues(Tanks,rendering,profiles(Damp&Scanning) heavies & Scouts) and otherwise carry on, because we dont need to feed these guys every comlaint we have, lets try and focus on the good, and what really needs to be fixed before our own selfish reasons ay?.

The last half month has seen numbers closer to an average of 3500, with variance from 3100 to 4600 at peak hours.
Over the last week we had numbers over 4k every day except for the last 3 days which have been closer to the 3500 mark at peak.
This isn't how many define as "barely breaking the 3,000 mark" |

just not worth it.
It would be showing everyone that you either A) cant afford the new, better games currently out, or B) know that even with most people playing other games you still need to have some skill at this game to win.
fight club is highly active, which I tip my cap to all those keeping that going and improving themselves |

I remember when 5k was low to average depending on the day. Those were good times, beta had its problems but it was fun. Weapons worked for the most part, vehicles were vehicles, and a scout could run for days. I hope what ever they are working on makes us forget about the bad times and makes us refocus on the future. |
